Solid and practical with everything you need, very central location near to metro and west lake promenade. The equipment is a bit dated and the rooms not well soundproofed. Great breakfast buffet at the rooftop restaurant. Overall good value for money.

We have been guests of Huachen for many years now- with a short break caused by Coronavirus. We love: its location - a walk from the Lake and the transport connections After recent modernization. It resulted in cleaner bathroom , water properly hot, towels new. In most rooms- Curtains- need refreshing.By mistake we booked a ‚ family with small child rooms- the decor leaves room for improvement. Beds comfortable. Single rooms are airier and the curtains less…tired. Breakfast is well varied , and affordable. Despite a slightly outdated decor- it is our top choice for location and quick and kind service offered at Huachen. In the lobby - a tiny office offering local tours and shows which we had enjoyed with our previous stays.

Excellent service provided by the counter staff, such as providing an umbrella during rainy days (Thanks to 小尚）. The room allocated was really spacious (with an annex room) and a good view of West Lake. Overall, it’s an enjoyable stay for me!

Good location, nice room, nice view. You can see the sunset to lake from the room. I came on 31 Dec, and I can see the bolloon event which is very beautiful. Maid is great.

The front office is good. Only one man who is not in the hospitality.
Toilet is no automatic. Bathtub is leak.
The window above the bathtub makes me feel uncomfortable.

• Very good value • Excellent Location (Few Blocks from West Lake). Cross from convenient Stores + Bakery + Fruit Shop. • Excellent front Desk + super friendly Staff (Spoke Good English) & assisted my with Bus Station details + local directions. • Very Good diverse Chinese Breakfast. • Excellent Cleaning Services (even in the evening redressing if the room). This is my 3rd stay at this hotel 2019, 2023, 2024.

Excellent location, easy to get around. It takes about 10mins to get to the shopping malls, about 5mins to the metro station, a bus stop in front, really convenient! Room was not big but cozy and clean. Service was great. Breakfast had a variety and was enjoyable. Breakfast service could be improved; fruits, some foods, and drinks were not replenished so those who came in the last hour had a few choices.
