Hotels in Hangzhou Paradise and Huxiang Scenic Area, Hangzhou

This place is really beautiful. And it's close to Xiang Lake which I think is worth visiting besides the famous West Lake. We had a very comfortable stay there. Rooms are clean n spacious. But their central warming system turned the place really warm during the night. So much so we have to open the window to let cold air in to cool the room. The air conditioning can't cool it down enough. For service I'll give it 4 stars given this is 5 star hotel. So I have higher expectation. The counter staff when we checked in that night did not give a good first impression. She wasn't rude n in fact was courteous in her words but I couldn't feel it in her tone or body language, something like coming out of a robot. I felt that in other service staff in other places too. But fortunately the other staff we encountered the next day wasn't like this. We can feel the warmth in their tone. And the next day during breakfast, there is no service at all. No one to bring us to the table. No one to clear our table. Nor anyone asked if we want any drink. The two staff in the restaurant stick together n stand around a pillar n will move together once in a while to clear tables after a table left. Otherwise they will stand there chatting. So, except a little service lapses, this hotel is definitely worth staying when you are in Hangzhou.

We are very satisfied in this hotel. The staffs are helpful and active in ushering the visitors. We love the location, peaceful and has a fresh ambiance. The food is delicious. They serve real meat especially the steak. We would love to stay here again.

The room next to the room was too noisy and the windows were not soundproof. When I went to have breakfast, I gave her 2 breakfast coupons and looked at the aunt's face (meaning she ate too much). This was the first time I encountered this kind of thing. The location was not accurate. When taking a taxi, I could only navigate to the nearby Hanting Hotel, which was difficult to find at night.

The room is very good, quiet, sanitary, clean and tidy. I also like the bay window style. It does not have the mediocre and fast-paced feeling of common economy chain hotels. Walking in the corridor feels much warmer. The room size is just right. If it is smaller, it will feel crowded, and if it is larger, it will feel wasteful. The window is large and the view outside is also very good.

The recent stay at New Century Grand Hotel Hangzhou was so great that I couldn't help but write a good review for this treasure hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the warm service of the staff, Manager Chen. When the front desk checked in quickly and efficiently, he also introduced the hotel's facilities and opening hours to me. The deluxe king room I stayed in completely exceeded my expectations: the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a panoramic view of the city skyline, and I am gently awakened by the morning sun every morning; the bathroom has a reasonable design of dry and wet separation. Another feature is that the hotel is only 5 kilometers away from Songcheng, which is really convenient for those who want to go to Songcheng. You don't have to worry about playing late. When checking out, I met Manager Chen Xiaolong again. He was still as enthusiastic as when I checked in, and greeted us with a bright smile. It was my first time staying here. The overall environment and service of the hotel were good. It was very close to the place where I was going on business. I will stay here again next time. The room was clean and the breakfast was rich. I will choose here again next time I am on a business trip. I am satisfied! The hotel's decoration style is simple and warm. The public area is spacious and bright, and the sofa in the lounge area is very comfortable. pros: - gym is super nice - robots for delivering foods and amenities - Cassie the receptionist is limited in English, but sincerely helpful and tried her best to meet our needs. she upgraded our room to have lake view and huge balcony. - breakfast is not as bad as other ppl reviews, its pretty good - room is super nice, super huge, nice interior design - bathroom is huge, toilet is in separated room - water pressure is nice, floor drain is good ( no stagnant water ) - overall hotel design is superb, i love their garden - provide complimentary photography, sorry i forgot the photographers name. - they gave me complimentary fruits basket, milk and pillow menu - the best thing is, all of this only 1.5mil IDR / night. that is how awesome china is. - if youre looking for the best hotel experience, come to china, you will be blown away. this is Wakanda in actual life cons : - location is pretty far from downtown, 15-20mins driving - for dining, honestly the restaurant inside the hotel not that nice imo. i need to go to downtown to look for good food. nearby a bit difficult to look for street food.

Not worth the money. We were informed at the last minute that air conditioner won't be working past 8pm. Too late and too expensive to book another hotel. They only provided fans. Claims it's a 4 star hotel but don't have mini bar and refrigerator in room. Had to go down to buy cold drinks from shop each time. Room size is so-so. No English speaking staff for foreigners. Otherwise the staff was polite and hotel is clean and newly decorated.
