Literally the last hotel available, so booked knowing it wasn't going to be great. Arrived and reception gave us key, but no other info like Check out etc. Room was so basic, no hairdryer or tea/coffee facility. One pillow each and so thin. One towel each, which were dirty. The bathroom stunk of damp. The weirdest, smallest packet of shampoo! Shower head hanging off and can only have cold or scorching hot shower. Was good for 15 minute stroll to Ally Pally, but sadly that is the only positive. Other people mention breakfast, this wasn't an option, and sounds like we didn't miss anything

We arrived and peered through the hatch at the male receptionist. After much fumbling we had our key and went to the room. The room clearly hadn’t been serviced, full bins grubby bed. Went back to reception, got another key. The second room was filthier than the first. Wife says, “Wait there, I don’t want you ripping the receptionists head off and stamping on it”. Wife returns from reception with THIRD key. Opened door to find a narrow room with metal bunk beds, one up, and one down. Wife goes back to reception after restraining me on the landing. Comes back with FOURTH key. Room okay but with hole in ceiling…
