The non-Japanese male staff at the front desk was unfriendly. The kitchenware was in very poor condition. There's a washing machine, but you have to buy laundry detergent from the front desk; they charge 50 JPY for a single wash's worth. It's not a small packet, but rather they dispense a single-use amount from a large bottle. This is very inconvenient for travelers.
