Seaview Hotels in Chatan

Very good hotel, after all, it is a Hilton hotel, the room is very large, the layout is reasonable, the whole tiffiny blue color scheme is very high-end. Probably because of the average weather, there are not many customers, so I gave a sea view room in the middle position, which is amazing. If it is sunny, it is probably the view of Gengbang. Fortunately, it was sunny when I left on the last day, so I quickly added some photos. The overall service level is 5 stars, the environment design is grand, there is a limousine bus from the airport to the hotel, which is very convenient, but you need to make an appointment in advance. It is 5-8 minutes away from the Ryukyu Gyu Chatan store, and I ate there by accident, which was a surprise. It is a good choice for traveling in Chatan!

The room is facing the sea, so relax and quiet. The view is beautiful and the room is tidy. The breakfast is ok but don’t have many choices compare to other hotels.

The hotel is great only if you want to experience America in Japan. If you are looking to experience Okinawa and the local culture, avoid at all costs. I personally prefer staying away from American village and make it a day trip instead. Prefer other towns which are more relaxing. The top floor public bath was awesome though and there is a laundry area.

As we checked in the room (room number: 2016), we found the room type was different than the one shown on the website. It was clear that two beds were movable. For most of the people I guess, the beds are not confortable cause they are not fixed. Moreover, the beds were located next to the window. I could here the traffic outside all night. What made it worse was that we were not asked that our room had been changed or somehow .......no ! Nothing at all.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Koroda, who assisted us with check-in—best service ever! The room was beautiful, offering a stunning view of the sea, which made our stay even more relaxing. The onsen was clean and comfortable, providing a truly refreshing experience. And don’t miss the breakfast—it’s delicious and definitely worth the money paid. Highly recommended, and I would love to stay here again! Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights to explore the central part of Okinawa, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel offers free parking and complimentary rental bikes to explore the nearby area. The English-speaking staff and receptionists were friendly, helpful, and available 24 hours a day, which added to our comfort. Our room was spacious, featuring traditional tatami-style flooring and a clean, well-maintained interior. We especially enjoyed the sea view from the balcony. The bed was comfortable and faced the ocean, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with separate areas for wet and dry use, which was a nice touch. Additionally, the hotel provides free laundry facilities, which was very convenient. A simple breakfast is included, consisting of three pastries and your choice of coffee, tea, or a local drink. The only downside was the room door, which was slightly stuck and difficult to open. Hopefully, this is something the hotel can improve. The location is great—within walking distance to the beach and just a 5-minute drive to the American Village. However, the area can be a bit dark at night due to limited street lighting, and the hotel is located behind an alley, which may be a concern for some. Overall, this hotel offers great value and comfort, especially for travelers looking to explore the middle region of Okinawa.

MB Chatan Gallery Hotel is a ten-minute walk from the American Village. Next to it is the Hilton Hotel and opposite is Ryukyu Beef. This area is relatively quiet. Shopping in the American Village is very general. There are no branded specialty stores or shopping malls. They are mainly small tourist commodities. There are mainly some restaurants such as beer houses that play noisy music. The hotel is divided into bay view and sea view. The bay view is the view I stayed in. Because the hotel is not located by the sea in a small town, only a few high-rise sea view rooms have good views, and the others are average. The management style is fast-paced, there is no holiday and leisure atmosphere and no grade. There is no reception and sitting check-in, but if they have vacancies, you can check in at 1 pm. After checking in, a drink is provided. The lounge on the 7th floor can be enjoyed by all room types. The space is high and has a sea view, but the hotel management is very unprofessional. From 2 to 4 pm is afternoon tea time. Two staff members are chatting loudly. There are cakes for tea, but the taste and quality are very poor and very sweet. I went to the Hanon pancake shop and lined up to enter. It was also too sweet and too sweet to eat. It may be the sweetness of the United States. Chinese people will think that adding so much sugar is a crime. From 4 to 6 pm is the wine time, there are snacks and cold dishes. After eating the cold dishes, my stomach was uncomfortable and growling. I thought if it was really spoiled food, it would be troublesome to vomit and have diarrhea, but fortunately it was not. Breakfast reservations must be made at the time when checking in, one main meal plus a buffet area, both of which were bad. I ordered the B set meal and waited for a long time. The fried fish was too oily and the fish meat was so old that it stuck between my teeth. There were few buffet items, and I ate several bad tomatoes. This hotel does not seem to be opened by professional hoteliers. Professionals pay much attention to restaurants, but I have moved to the Hilton next door and it is not good. The price is still high. The hotel is a new hotel. The room is clean and there is no peculiar smell. Overall, you can live in the American Village.

I can hear the sound of walking upstairs all night. I can't sleep until 2am The most complimentary thing is that there is a washing machine and dryer, only a pack of laundry detergent 

When I arrived at the destination, I found out that it was a self-check-in hotel. The check-in process was not as clear as other hotels. When I checked in, I found that there was no check-in number provided at all, which made it very inconvenient. 😔 I was a little panicked due to the language barrier. Fortunately, I used simple English and translation software to express myself to the customer service staff on the other end of the intercom. With her help, I was able to check in smoothly! The room is fully equipped and has plenty of space. There are two kinds of toys provided in the room for the children to play with!

Absolutely loved this hotel! Booked the Japanese style room for a family of 4. Since we are only 2, and it was so spacious. There was also a proper dining table and washing machine. Many restaurants, supermarkets and convenience shops all around. For though that are looking for a more unique stay / non-traditional hotel, this is the place!
