Pros: 1. The rooms are quite spacious. For HongKong it’s a huge deal. 2. Convenient shuttle bus routes. From the West Kowloon train station, as well as Disneyland and to other attractions, or close to them. 3. Despite being located in a relatively remote spot, it has a great infrastructure around it. Like a 7/11, coffee shops, restaurant etc. 4. Amazing views from the hotel room, as well as the surroundings. 5. The hotel staff were all super nice, professional and helpful. 6. The territory of the hotel itself I think it’s very convenient and safe for families with kids. There is a mini golf court. Kids can play around the hotel, and it will be very safe for them. 7. Special thanks for upgrading my room. That was very nice. I really appreciated it. Cons: 1. Breakfast was super average for the cost (one type of cold cut, two types of cheese) and in general the selection was very basic. (I went to HongKong many times, and stayed in different hotels, so comparing to other hotels with the same price for the breakfast, this one is the worst). But I liked the pancake machine and the view. 2. The kids were allowed to swim in a very deep swimming pool for adults. And I think it’s dangerous for kids, as well as it’s inconvenient for the adults that would like to swim. Overall a solid 8,5/10. Yes, the hotel is not new, but in pretty good condition. And maybe for people that will take public transportation will not be convenient to reach it. So take it into consideration. Also it will not be suitable for people who want to party and discover the “main attractions” of HongKong. It will be amazing for a staycation, nature and sea lovers.

Perfect place by a beautiful white sand beach. Location is perfect, walking distance from the pier. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room is clean, but it’s small. For us the balcony and the beach view was the best part. I definitely recommend here for Lamma island.

The room balcony faces the sea and you can hear the sound of the coast. The room is not big, but well-equipped. I would like to praise that there are enough hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes and towels. I would like to point out that the electric kettle is too high and cannot be placed in the wash basin to collect water. It would be more convenient if I change it to a shorter one.

Good location and nice view on small beach. Western breakfast without fruits 120HDK, 80 if you book it the day before. Too expensive! Comfortable bed and quiet place. Bellagio and concerto same owner so check in at concerto and plan 500HDK. Backpack or suitcase with wheels no problem.

The host was very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of info about the local attractions. The room was extremely clean though, but the water flow was a bit slow due to low water pressure. We don’t think this is an issue though, because it didn’t affect our showers but just think that it’s something we need to mention about. In terms of location, I would consider it as inconvenient, because there’s a 10mins walk to the main road and cars can’t drive through because there’s no road/ paths nearby the house. For drivers x you do need to park your car outside where about 10mins walk away. In terms of cleanliness and quietness, this place is an extremely clean, and the host actually asked us to leave our shoes outside the room. Also, I haven’t found any dust or dirt in this house. In terms of view, we were not arranged to a room with any views, which is kinda disappointed. As far as I know there were other rooms occupied at the same time, and they were on the second floor and third floor. Unfortunately, they are the rooms that have views. In terms of facilities, we actually didn’t manage time to cook or BBQ at this place. Guests can actually use the kitchen and BBQ at the backyard.

The room is on the first floor, with a small yard outside. The overall environment is very comfortable. Air conditioning, refrigerator, and washing machine are all available. The boss is very nice, recommended delicious restaurants, and responded promptly to any questions. The only problem is that the house is a bit far from Rongshuwan Commercial Street, which takes 20 minutes to walk, and there is no means of transportation. It is very close to the beach and seaside bathing beach, which only takes five minutes. There is a restaurant on the beach with a good environment (as shown in the picture). Overall, it is highly recommended! The Thai food on the island, little thai by bee, is really delicious!

The resort is a little bit rough around the edges, clearly built a long time ago. But the rooms and beds are big and you have everything you nee for a simple stay, and there's a lovely beach and hiking access around. The breakfast staff were really lovely.

GGuest UserThe service is very good. They clearly explain the situation of self-catering accommodation. They also enthusiastically recommend Tai O's attractions and food. They also recommend going to the rooftop to watch the stars. The rooftop environment is good and there are several tables and chairs. You can bring wine and snacks to discuss in detail... The room is not big. But there is a small terrace with a good view. The bed is a normal double bed but it is relatively small for us, and there is a little noise. The curtains do not block the light. It is a bit difficult for us who usually get up late😆 Overall, we are satisfied. Tai O is a Away from the hustle and bustle, watching the sunset on a river cruise is a very good experience. I will consider coming back...

TTiffany CiaraOur recent visit was a delightful surprise, far exceeding our expectations. The sea was just a short 1.5-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. The most challenging aspect was transporting our many bags to the specific location. However, after initially helping us with our luggage, the staff arranged for a bike with a wagon to assist us with our items on our departure. The atmosphere was pleasantly uncrowded, and breakfast featured a charming English twist, including baked beans. I am eager to return, especially because of Kerina’s exceptional kindness towards both my daughter and me. During a difficult time marked by delayed and canceled flights, she went above and beyond to assist us, treating us with warmth and care typically reserved for friends rather than mere guests. Kerina will always be remembered and cherished for her generosity. We look forward to returning!

SSolo Male - Long Term TravelTung Chung - 2 nights - private double room Expectation/Reality: this is the only provider of accommodation in the area so expectations need to be managed. They have the ability to essentially set terms, so the negative reviews here are likely from the folks who didn’t read the find print. The photos match the space very well. However the hostel reached out over what’s app a number of days before the booking asking for the $150 membership fee and $500 deposit, which I was not comfortable providing until arrival, however the hostel was okay with that. Security: very good, there is a gate lock and a lock to the door, very safe. Hygiene: overall very clean, no concerns. Hospitality: the check in and out process is all over what’s app, so you are at the mercy of how responsive they are which can be frustration when trying to get in. Once you are in, it’s fine. Social Atmosphere: good social spaces. Overall: given they essentially have a monopoly on accommodation in the area. It’s a pretty good spot. I accidentally broke the key and they came and fixed it the next day, but took off $50 from the deposit. So handle the keys gently. Over pretty good place.

GGuest UserIt can only be said that it is an upgraded version of the holiday home, with hotel equipment, but the space is almost the same as that of a holiday home. After checking in, I was trapped in the bathroom, and I asked Master to help unlock the door. The air conditioner was ok, and the TV could only watch some Hong Kong TV. Room for improvement.
