Hotel staff were helpful when my booked taxi didn’t turn up to airport. Once I got to the hotel, the location was good was able to get walk to most places in city like the national museum and the gallery (which were always closed, when it said they were open every day of the week), the Honiara central market, a couple other local resorts.
The hotel itself was dated and had no sound proofing at all, which I discovered as the people to the right of me had a party, playing loud music all night, people going back and forth from the shared balcony into the room all night, didn’t stop until 8am, at which time work men started making noise working on renovating the room my the left of me.
Said there was hot water available but I didn’t even have warm water my whole stay, I arrived on a Sunday afternoon where the only options for dinner were a Sunday Roast or a pizza, despite being given a full menu.

The hotel has a feel that it's been around a long time. Large expat guest ratio. Easy to walk to local amenities. Nice pool, gym unsafe

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I've never encountered such outrageous disrespect for customers anywhere else. On Fridays, this hotel throws a party with singing and dancing until 2 AM! This is no joke, and it's not a mistake. Until 2 AM, with the speakers blasting. The entire hotel reverberates from the din. The poor girls at the reception are deafened by the noise—the lower they are, the worse it gets—and they have to listen to complaints from reasonable guests. I was moved to a room on the very top floor, but even there it was impossible to sleep until the whole nightmare was over. All this is apparently being done to please a small group of drunken guests who enjoy this kind of thing. However, I paid for the hotel to be able to rest at night, not to be subjected to this madness. This violates every possible ethical and legal norm.
The hotel, by the way, is in a pretty bad state. All the plumbing is falling apart, the doors creak, the towels and bed linens are torn, and the price is way overpriced for such a dump. I booked and paid for a transfer from the hotel to the airport well in advance, and waited in the lobby for about an hour. They tried to find out something, but nothing came of it. They sent me and another guest in a regular taxi, which wasn't even allowed to enter the airport grounds. We had to walk (it's not far, but it's a fact).
Stay as far away from this place as possible!

Outstanding

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the supermarket, the beach, and the bus station. However, the buses are vans without air conditioning or large trucks. There is no canopy when you sit on them. It is very sunny and windy. If it rains, you will get wet on them. It is 3 Solomon coins for locals. There are performances in the hotel bar at night until 2 to 3 in the morning. It is not closed and the sound is very loud, a bit like a concert. I stayed for four nights. The music is quite good, with different themes every day…

It's not cheap, but I experienced the worst. I personally experienced the bad reviews.
There's no elevator or escalator. The rails are broken, so you have to carry your heavy luggage by hand.
The wooden stairs are so steep and there are so many of them... They're slippery and very dangerous. (I already fell down the stairs.)
There's no phone in the room, so you have to go to the front desk yourself. They only give you one towel for two people, and the ceiling fan rattles... I can't believe how many times it went up and down.
My room was dark and didn't have hot water. The worst part was the faucet was unplugged. I'm too tired to complain.
The bathroom shower is just a small sunflower faucet attached to the ceiling, and it's scary as hell.
I understand the Saturday night party, but is the sound really that loud? It felt like a concert, and it lasted until 2 a.m.
Wi-Fi is available for a fee in the guest rooms. It's free in the lobby, but it's not very good. Spending a little more money and going elsewhere might be better for your mental health.
The restaurant, however, seems fine.

The room facilities are old, the sanitary conditions are poor, the environment is average, but the service is quite enthusiastic and they help guests solve problems.

The room is very old, equivalent to a domestic 2-star hotel, the location is OK, and the restaurant is up to standard
