"This hotel is located right by Lake Yamanaka. You can see Mount Fuji across the street from the entrance, and the hotel also offers bicycle rentals. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Hirano Beach.
Getting here is convenient; you can take a direct bus from Tokyo to Yamanakako Asahigaoka Station, and the hotel owner even provides pick-up service from nearby stations around Lake Yamanaka.
The hotel has an old-fashioned inn feel, but it's very clean, and the rooms are incredibly spacious! It was very quiet at night, so I slept really well overall. The breakfast was also excellent – what could be better than a hot breakfast after watching the sunrise on a cold morning?"

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Fuji Yamanakako. The view is truly 10/10 — we could see Mount Fuji directly from the villa, and waking up to such a breathtaking scenery every morning was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with Lake Yamanakako just a 1-minute walking distance, making it very convenient for morning walks and enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere.
The villa itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the fully furnished kitchen — there were plenty of utensils, plates, pots, and cooking tools available, which allowed us to prepare and enjoy our own breakfast easily. It really felt like a home away from home.
The environment was quiet, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to escape the busy city and enjoy nature, especially with the stunning view of Mount Fuji right in front of you. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
We highly recommend Villa Fuji Yamanakako to anyone visiting the Fuji area. It is a perfect place for families, couples, or friends who want a comfortable stay with an incredible view. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!"
