Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely loved it! We were the only guests that night, so we had the whole villa to ourselves. Grandma drove to pick us up and took us to the Kaba bus stop, and when we found out there were no tickets, she drove us to a restaurant instead. Later that night, feeling a bit scared of the dark, we asked her to pick us up again. When we got back, our luggage was already in the room, the beds were made, and the bath was filled with hot water.
Grandpa gave us a detailed tour of the room's amenities and shared many stories about photographing Mount Fuji. He even offered to take us to a viewpoint in the morning if the weather was clear. Although it rained too heavily to see the mountain, we slept wonderfully and enjoyed a comfortable soak in the hot spring.
In the morning, Grandma prepared a delicious Western-style breakfast from scratch. The scrambled eggs were made with milk, and the yogurt came with homemade strawberry jam. We were so full we could barely move! Eating breakfast amidst the fog, accompanied by music from a music box, was incredibly relaxing.
Grandpa, seeing that we couldn't see Mount Fuji, suggested we go to the museum for the VR experience and drove us there. The VR was totally worth it! We'll definitely come back to Lake Yamanaka next time we have a chance. Ten stars!
The entire house was super clean, with so many lovely little details. Room 207 has the best view, though the only minor drawback is the shared bathroom, which might be a slight inconvenience if there are many guests.

This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We arrived at midnight, and it was so dark we couldn't see the tiny 'P' sign for the campsite. We ended up parking at the bank's lot just ahead and dragging our luggage over, and my hands were freezing. Later, I realized the camp hotel had sent me a map with the location and room code – all that suffering for nothing! Luckily, the room was exceptionally clean, with a gas stove, microwave, and BBQ grill all fully equipped and neatly organized, ready for us to use. What was truly a special surprise was that the host had even pre-filled the bathtub with water for our arrival. The next morning, when I stepped outside for a walk, I discovered Mount Fuji right behind us – it was absolutely amazing! Many thanks to the host for providing us with such a wonderful experience. Driving to Oshino Hakkai the next day only took about fifteen minutes.

The bathroom was huge and even had a private onsen and a sauna. Each room type came with dinner (BBQ) and breakfast for two. The portions were decent, though don't expect too much from the breakfast. The location is great, very close to Lake Yamanaka's attractions, only about a 10-minute drive away. There's also a fairly large supermarket right next door, just a minute's drive, which was super convenient for restocking. However, due to the glamping site's location, you can't see the sunrise with Mount Fuji in the same frame. I had planned to wake up early to catch the sunrise, but it turns out the sun rises on the opposite side. Overall, aside from being a bit pricey, everything else was perfect. The staff were very nice, and their English communication was excellent.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Fuji Yamanakako. The view is truly 10/10 — we could see Mount Fuji directly from the villa, and waking up to such a breathtaking scenery every morning was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with Lake Yamanakako just a 1-minute walking distance, making it very convenient for morning walks and enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere.
The villa itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the fully furnished kitchen — there were plenty of utensils, plates, pots, and cooking tools available, which allowed us to prepare and enjoy our own breakfast easily. It really felt like a home away from home.
The environment was quiet, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to escape the busy city and enjoy nature, especially with the stunning view of Mount Fuji right in front of you. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
We highly recommend Villa Fuji Yamanakako to anyone visiting the Fuji area. It is a perfect place for families, couples, or friends who want a comfortable stay with an incredible view. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!

Guest UserI really liked the hotel overall
1. The staff was very nice and knew some english so conversation was possible. Fast response times in chat is good service
2. Breakfast was really good
3. Location is very good, got bus stops around the hotel and you can use google maps to know which buses to take, when they come. I used suica card on apple wallet or on app on the scanner when boarding the bus to get around. The bus which is like 5 minutes walk can take you to lake kawaguchiko, gotemba premium outlets, and more. You also got lawson within 4 minutes walk which is a pretty cool convenience store that also has things like katsu sandwiches and cheeseburgers for snacks, ogino a grocery store within 6 min walk, and some other soup restaurants like udon and hoto noodles
4. Close to the lake pier which is great for biking around Lake Yamanaka which was probably my favorite part of visiting besides the local food it is what I would say life changingly beautiful
5. The onsen which is inside the hotel was very relaxing and nice, and you can put cold water into it if its too hot
Now i haven't been to other hotels around the area so I cant compare but I would definitely come again

Guest UserI stayed one night at Fuji Marriott Hotel Lake Yamanaka and really enjoyed the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from my room. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety of food.
However, one thing that disappointed me was that I couldn’t turn off the hot spring water in the room. The running water sound made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Since I was only staying for one night, I didn’t request a room change.
Another area for improvement is that the staff could be more proactive in assisting guests with their baggage upon arrival. The hotel’s location is far away from the train station, but we drove there so it was fine.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a stunning view and great breakfast, but there’s some room for improvement in comfort and service attentiveness.

The hotel room is spacious, amenities provided such as toothbrush, comb, cotton pads and cotton buds. They also provide greentea powder and oolong tea bag. This hotel also has a hotspring. Parking is free just opposite the hotel. 1 minute walking distance to Family mart. The view is great as we can see the Lake Yamanaka just right in front of the hotel and Mt Fuji is really pretty from this location. Will return to stay in this hotel again.

From the room, you can see Mount Fuji. It is very fast to go to the shore of Hirano. If you want to see the morning sunshine in Jinshan, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today and then decide whether to go downstairs. There is a private bathroom in the room. The room is large and the hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs without elevator. It takes7-8 minutes to drag your luggage from Hirano bus station to the hotel.
