This was a last minute booking as I had to cancel my Alishan trip due to typhoon warning. Recommended by my friends staying in Hsinchu. They just renovated the hotel so all was new and ambience was really good.

A wonderful hotel for me to stay relaxed. Clean and the air-conditioning is comfortable.

This hotel in Hsinchu is a bit older, but its location is excellent. It's just a 10-minute walk to the train station or the Chenghuang Temple commercial area. The windowless rooms on lower floors are a great value for money option for business travelers or backpackers. The rooms generally offer a good level of cleanliness and practicality. The service is also quite good, making it a suitable choice for out-of-towners or foreigners who are unfamiliar with Hsinchu.

The room is clean. They have a swimming pool. If traveling with family in summer you can swim and relax at the hotel.. The food is also great.

On a business trip to Hsinchu, I stayed at the Howard Plaza Hotel. The location is great, and the surrounding area is very lively. I'm very satisfied.

Staying at the Howard Plaza Hotel in Hsinchu is a great way to explore Hsinchu City, which is conveniently located near a train station, department stores, and vibrant night markets.

The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and very clean. I often stay here for business trips.

The staff is polite, and their service is helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and feel completely satisfied with us. Their friendliness and willingness to assist create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes me want to come back again and again.

We didn’t expect much given it’s a last-minute booking for CNY Eve. However, the level of service is absolutely below average and the staff felt reluctant to help and have bad attitude.

The breakfast offers great value for money.

As we arrived the hotel quite late close to 10pm, and for a night stay only leaving at 9am, we cannot comment much on location. Room wise it is pretty small but the bed, toilet, cleanliness is good. Really not a bad hotel to stay. We will definitely come back again if we ever go back to Taiwan.

A time honoured hotel got a new “face” by cultural creative designing. The rooms and the parking lot still express their old ages but good maintenance shall be credited. It seems there are many exchanging staff from abroad, which is good for providing international services. The location is perfect, just right nearby the city hall. Even though the restaurants around this area are plenty, the ones inside Howard are good enough and the cafe on 1st floor is suitable for a family with kids.
