Villa Side Residence

This hotel is amazing. Everything was perfect- delicious food, rooms service, pool and animators, epecially miss MiMi, our children love her. Evening live music and dance show were great too. We are looking forward to next holidays in this wonderful place.

We visited this hotel third time. Staff is great especially Fahri from animation team. It was too good to spent time with your hotel. I recommend everyone I loved rooms food and other services and the personel was too kind and We liked hotel organizations thank you very much

Animasyon ekibi mükemmel ve her an kendinize bir aktivite bulabiliyorsunuz. Özellikle Hugo ile beraber Dart oyunları çok keyifliydi. Seneye tekrardan görüşmek üzere. Booked this hotel last minute due to illness and been unable to fly home on original date. Loved the rooms, comfy beds, huge room with seating area and balcony, fridge refilled everyday, spotlessly clean. Downside of my stay was the rudest woman on the reception….she did not like english guests at all! Someone needs to remind her without guests she would not have work, most ignorant rude person ive ever come across. Restaurant had huge choices of buffet food, gorgeous desserts, the bistro cafe was great if you fancied a snack in the afternoon. During my stay i was only english guest, rest all bolshy germans! Didnt bother me at all.

Villa Side Residence Review January 2023 I visited the Villa Side Residence with my elderly mother 5th-22nd January 2023 (17 nights). This was my fourth visit to the VSR and my 79th visit to an Antalya Province hotel. My previous visit to the Villa Side Residence was during the pandemic and much of the hotel experience was understandably compromised to comply with the Covid regulations in place at that time. However, compared to my two visits pre-pandemic, this most recent, fourth, stay has been disappointing with an overall tone of ‘a thousand small cutbacks’. During the pandemic the hotel had a policy of ‘increased ventilation’ which manifested itself as many outside windows and doors being permanently open and making practically all the public spaces very cold in the winter, especially in the evenings where there was no sunshine to take the edge off it. Now, the policy of increased ventilation has gone, the windows and doors are closed but most of the public spaces are still cold - unbearably so without wearing several layers. It is a reasonable expectation that all public spaces of a hotel are at or near ‘room temperature’. There is ceiling-mounted heating everywhere, just almost all switched off. The lobby bar, which was once a beautifully-lit, warm and sociable space with a lively, long bar counter fronted by bar stools occupied by sociable guests, with multiple staff serving them and with tasteful background music is now practically abandoned. Only three bar stools have returned since the pandemic, the staff only briefly appear in order to access the legacy coffee machines for customers in the ‘smoker’s conservatory’ on the other side of the bar. The lighting is now only fluorescent ceiling ***** lights with none of the ambient, decorative lights ever used. Worst of all is the low temperature which is not at all conducive to sitting or even lingering unless dressed for the winter outside. There is a sign at the lobby bar entrance advertising the operating hours of 4pm-midnight (these times were 10am-midnight) when we arrived) but, apart from a solitary waitress doing the rounds for those sitting in the cold and dark, the lobby bar is essentially closed. What a tragic waste of the hotel’s most beautiful bar-lounge! Think of all the architects, designers and crafts people that created this most wonderful sociable space and now it is used just as a corridor to the smoker’s room beyond. Next the main restaurant is also cold in the entire seating area. Having to put your winter clothes on to eat precludes any form of dressing up. I was freezing in my jacket, shirt and tie one night and never wore them again. I changed to jumpers and hoodie, sometimes with the hood up. Some others wore their winter coats. I would have done if I had brought one with me. Other cutbacks in the restaurant include a change from two sets of cutlery and linen napkins for both lunch and dinner down to one set of cutlery each meal and only paper serviettes at l

One of the best hotel in Antalya. Beautiful and peaceful environment. Everything is perfect. There are ample options and varieties in breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went there during Easter (14th - 20 th April 22 )This hotel keeps up to its name for being a 5-Star.Beautiful Location,very clean,maintains all covid protocol.There a lot of activities for kids . The hotel is very well maintained and very good staff.Ours was all inclusive .A little downside is that not very much options available for vegetarians but was still managebable . Lot of snack options avaliable almost during odd hours too. Also I have to mention that I forgot my purse in the dining area and it was found by the staff and carefully handed over to the reception.Overall a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend to families with kids.

We stayed here for a week during February half term. It’s a really gorgeous hotel, the rooms are of a good size, and are spotless/cleaned every day. Fully stocked mini bar in the room plus toiletries replenished daily too. The food was fine, not outstanding but perfectly acceptable. There is the usual buffet style restaurant plus a further 3 al a carte but you have to pay extra for these. The walk to the private beach was around 5 minutes and is definitely worth a visit. Lunch outside at the beach restaurant is nice too so long as you don’t mind cats wandering around whilst you’re eating. There are a few drawbacks worth mentioning; the guests are predominantly German, I’d say 95% when we were there so of course they cater for the majority. Very little English speaking staff , they kinda just assume you’re German. I even struggled to get the waiter to understand the word “beer” one evening. Go figure! The only other thing worth mentioning is the waiting on staff are very tips driven. If you give them a euro as you’re going along you’ll get excellent service. I know it’s customary with Brits to tip at the end of the evening but this isn’t a thing here and will do you no favours at this particular hotel! Oh and be aware that a lot of the facilities might not be open depending on when you go. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Would we return? Probably not to be honest.

Loved the waterslides, just wish they were open a bit more (same with beach access/pool, can't swim at night). Internet can be very slow. Staff was super friendly and buffet had good food variety. Had a wonderful couple's vacation there.
