Seogwipo Hotels with Infinity Pools

"I'm not sure if schools in Korea have started their new term, but the hotel itself, its environment, and facilities were all great. However, there was a minor hiccup in the overall experience (though generally it was positive). The main issue was this: Guests staying at the resort get free admission to the water park, but only during their stay, meaning from 3 PM on check-in day until 11 AM on check-out day. The major flaw here is that check-out is at 11 AM, but the water park also opens at 11 AM. This effectively limits your playtime to just four hours, from 3 PM to 7 PM on your check-in day. Furthermore, at the water park, you have to rent a life vest to surf, and even chairs come with a rental fee. The most baffling part is that it's late August, scorching hot with temperatures over 30°C, yet all outdoor water park attractions were closed, supposedly due to it being 'off-season' (?!). I only found out about the closures upon arrival. I checked their official WeChat and Xiaohongshu accounts, but there was no information whatsoever! I even commented on their Xiaohongshu page to ask, and the official account replied, confirming the outdoor section was closed – only to delete their reply the very next day! I was utterly speechless. So, anyone planning a visit soon, please take note! The theme park, on the other hand, had no such issues. Getting the three-attraction pass and upgrading to the full pass went very smoothly. Although it wasn't very crowded, which meant the atmosphere wasn't as lively, and it was extremely sunny, the experience there was quite enjoyable! Both the hotel and the shopping street were satisfactory. The sky pool was gorgeous. I also distinctly felt that this place isn't primarily family-oriented; aside from a small outdoor children's slide area, the overall ambiance of the hotel leaned more towards business, making it quite suitable for couples' getaways as well."

"The location is fantastic! It's right across from a large park, and just a 10-minute walk to Olle Market. The street behind the hotel is a starting point for the Olle Trail, and there's a food street just a few steps away, leading directly to Olle Trail Route 7. Upon check-in, the hotel provides a helpful FAQ sheet, including addresses for bike rental shops. We rented bikes for a day and had a great experience. There's a CU convenience store right outside, as well as coin-operated washers and dryers. The breakfast is a bit basic and pretty much the same every day, and the bed was a little too soft for my liking. However, these are minor points, and overall, I really liked this hotel."

"This is the best hotel out of 3 hotel we stayed at when we were in Jeju. I love the location, the rooms were spacious, staff were very friendly, respectful and helpful. The view out to nature was amazing and calming. My kids enjoyed it. The pool is heated and was beautiful and it was perfect because the weather was cold. I love the idea of the DJ pool night time to just enjoy live music and chill time. Also very convenient with 7-11 store with other shops that are well affordable to buy necessities. The room service was also amazing. We ordered our food and it didn’t take long for them to be delivered. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL. A must to stay at if when we go again."

"The hotel is situated next to a golf course, offering a peaceful and quiet environment even during the day. The room was spacious and well-appointed; however, it tended to be warm at night due to the centralized air conditioning being set to heating mode. Sliding open the balcony door provided a welcome flow of cool, natural air. There is a self-managed GS25 convenience store located in the lobby—perfect for grabbing snacks or daily necessities. The hotel also provides plenty of open-air parking spaces right in front of the building, which is convenient for guests with vehicles. While the location is ideal for sightseeing—close to the O’Sulloc Green Tea Museum, Innisfree Jeju House, and Jeju Premium Outlet adjacent to Shinhwa World Resort—it’s worth noting that the surrounding area within the hotel becomes quite dimly lit at night. Whether walking or driving, guests should exercise extra caution in the evenings due to the limited lighting. The hotel is also approximately a 35-minute drive from three of Jeju’s most iconic natural landmarks: Jeongbang Waterfall, Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff, and Cheonjeyeon Waterfall."

"This was my third time staying at Goldone Hotel during my Jeju trips. The first time was with my partner, the second with my spouse, and this time it was a family vacation. The swimming pool is heated, which was great for use even in winter. This time, the water temperature was around 30-35 degrees Celsius, which was warm and comfortable, so we didn't feel cold at all. My parents were very satisfied, and my child loved it too. Although there aren't a huge number of rooms and the front desk entrance isn't grand, the rooms themselves are comparable to a 5-star hotel. My whole family felt it was just as good as a 5-star, even wondering if it was a great value hotel! The king-sized bed was spacious, and the room was very clean and nice. For breakfast, during my previous visits, I had the room service breakfast, so this time I didn't opt for it. However, if you're traveling as a couple or with a partner, I think having breakfast would add to the ambiance and be even better."

"This stay really enhanced our whole trip. The hotel itself is surrounded by stunning sea views and beaches, and there's a natural hiking trail just a short walk away. We even had a chance encounter with the famous actor Ryu Seung-ryong and hiked back to the hotel with him! The front desk staff spoke excellent English, and the service, right from the doorman, was precise and warm. The kids absolutely loved the pool experience, spending three hours in the water and not wanting to get out. The pool's water quality and safety measures deserve a perfect 10/10. Dining options nearby are convenient, and the in-room dining service was also delicious. We'll definitely be back for another stay!"

"This is an unconditional, completely self-funded review of the hotel I stayed at during my recent trip to Jeju. This is my honest experience, with absolutely no sponsorships or advertising. There are many existing resorts in Jeju, but honestly, this one couldn't compare. While the older resorts felt like crammed together, with rooms crammed together like chicken coops, this one felt like a spacious, free-flowing space, like sheep let loose in a vast pasture. The space itself was a stark difference. The interior design of the rooms may vary, but the materials are definitely luxurious. After spending some time with my own money, I was struck by the thought, ”Wow, they've used a lot of quality ingredients here.” I was impressed by the attention to detail. Even the hairdryer was a Dyson, a standard feature. I could feel the attention to detail. The bedding was so good, my skin thanked me in the morning. I was worried about the service after reading other reviews, but it was completely unfounded. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, I felt like I was being treated with respect, even though I paid for it myself. The food was also made with the highest quality ingredients, which was reassuring. The facilities were also top-notch. The pool and fitness center were both top-notch and well-maintained. The ample underground parking meant I never had to worry about door dings. The room amenities, even the robes, were top-notch, making me realize, ”This is why I pay for this.” The minibar was also reasonably priced, so I enjoyed it without any hesitation. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that room service only started at 7 p.m. Finally, the value for money. While the price might seem a bit high, I'd much rather pay 100,000 won more for a comfortable stay. Having paid my own way, I truly felt it was worth the money. In conclusion, I think it's rare to find a place in Jeju that offers such a level of satisfaction. If I were to go back, I would choose this place again without hesitation."

The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are meticulously prepared and elegantly presented, making every meal a comfortable and enjoyable experience 😊😊😊. The infinity pool connects seamlessly with the blue sky and sea, and its heated temperature makes it comfortable for swimming even in winter. The evening bonfire party was enchanting and unforgettable. The pure-tasting rice wine paired with sweet, soft, and glutinous roasted sweet potatoes was simply delicious. Although we never met her in person, our Chinese-speaking concierge, Jessica, left a deep impression with her thoughtful care and enthusiastic service. In short, this resort offered us an experience of luxury, warmth, thoughtfulness, and relaxation!
