Took my mom out for a trip and saw Aling's live stream on Douyin. She came across as very practical, genuine, and unpretentious, so we decided to stay for a few days. Overall, it was a really good experience. As soon as you enter the courtyard, there's a water feature with koi fish, which gives a vibrant and lively feel. The two young men working there were incredibly attentive and patient in answering our questions, and their demeanor was very refined. We also had the good fortune to meet a compatible travel couple, Sister Liu and her husband, at Aling's place. It felt like such a serendipitous encounter for people from the north and south to meet here. In the evening, we gathered in Aling's courtyard to chat, drink tea, and share our travel experiences. It was truly delightful. Thank you, Aling, for bringing us all together!

YoYo_7797Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy.
Service: Attentive and kind.
Environment: Dominated by wood tones, very textured.
[Lanshe Courtesy] Tea Tasting: The afternoon tea is definitely worth taking your time to enjoy.
I happened to be suffering from altitude sickness and a cold that day, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared brown sugar ginger tea for me. Many thanks!
The hotel is conveniently located about 200 meters from Zhongyi Market, an easy walk.

EvgeniaLMy three-day trip to Lijiang, staying at this hotel, was an absolutely amazing experience.
🌟 Service: From the moment I booked, I felt pampered.
Before check-in, the front desk proactively set up a dedicated service group chat. Even when we were still in Dali, they thoughtfully sent us sightseeing suggestions. Upon arrival, the butler was quick to help with our luggage and provided a detailed Lijiang guide. They also reminded us daily about afternoon tea and late-night snacks at the right time. A special shout-out to ”Millennium Butler” (千禧管家) – so gentle and patient, always ready to help. If he was busy, other butlers immediately stepped in, providing seamless and attentive service. This feeling of being ”collectively pampered” was incredibly reassuring.
📍 Location: Within walking distance of the Old Town and Black Dragon Pool.
You can walk to Black Dragon Pool Park and the Big Waterwheel of Lijiang Old Town in two different directions from the hotel. If you want to go to Shuhe or Baisha, a taxi ride is quick and convenient.
🎫 Additional Services: Ticket booking, fair prices.
The guesthouse can book tickets for ”Lijiang Impression” (丽江千古情) and nearby horse ranches. We didn't have enough time to go, but I compared their prices with market rates, and the horse ranch quote was very reasonable, saving us both hassle and money.
🍜 Dining: Afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and breakfast – all prepared with care.
The afternoon tea pastries were exquisite and delicious (though the selection was fixed, the taste was on point). The late-night sweet soup was warm and comforting, but unfortunately, we were out having fun for three days and only managed to catch it once. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the rice noodles were incredibly fragrant. Paired with the guesthouse's homemade mushroom oil, my travel companion and I woke up early every day just for that dish. We even bought a bottle of the mushroom oil to take home for our family to enjoy with meals.
🏡 Environment: Naxi courtyard, with the snowy mountains in sight.
The courtyard is elegant, with beautiful flowers and trees. Just relaxing in the courtyard every morning was a treat. The rooftop directly faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and on clear days, the ”Golden Mountain in the Sun” (日照金山) was clearly visible. The room size was moderate, with no unpleasant odors, soft bedding, and a well-designed wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The overall style was simple yet sophisticated, perfectly matching my aesthetic.
If I visit Lijiang again, I will definitely choose Doplin once more. It truly transformed a guesthouse into a ”warm home.” I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Lijiang!

Choosing Jùshè B&B for my Lijiang trip was absolutely worth it! The location is perfect – quiet yet close to the action, just a few minutes' walk to the Big Water Wheel in the Old Town, making getting around super convenient. The courtyard is lush with greenery, and the wooden style is elegant and cozy. The room was great too! Plus, there was a dedicated butler who helped with luggage, made sachets, and was really enthusiastic. He even offered to take us on a tour of the ancient town! It happened to rain during my stay, and listening to the rain at the downstairs bar in the evening while enjoying the complimentary sweet soup from the B&B was incredibly comfortable and created such a wonderful atmosphere. The value for money is outstanding. It's also right next to the entrance of Black Dragon Pool Park, and you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain not far away – it's just so ideal for a stay! I'll definitely book here again on my next visit!

jennysumThis has been the most satisfying B&B I've ever stayed in. The facilities are excellent, the service is attentive, and responses are quick. They offer free high-speed rail pickup, luggage transfer, welcome afternoon tea, and bedtime milk. When we found a drain odor in our room, the staff checked it out and upgraded us immediately, resolving the issue promptly. The toiletries are also high-end, and you can even take home the slippers, bath towels, and regular towels. Aside from the slight noise issue and a limited breakfast selection, everything else was perfect. I would definitely choose Po Xin Yun She again next time.

When I came to Lijiang this time, I chose this Naxi-style guesthouse with a local feel. Its location is right in the center of the old town, just a few minutes' walk to Sifang Street, the Waterwheel, and Bar Street. There's also a super beautiful 'Mi Cafe' nearby, which is very convenient.
The guesthouse itself is an antique courtyard, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with excellent privacy. The ground floor courtyard is perfect for tea and chats at any time, while the second floor features rooms with a view. From the balcony, you can overlook the entire old town, and if you wake up early, you might even catch the sunrise over Lijiang Ancient City. In the evening, sitting on the balcony with a glass of local rose wine allows you to fully immerse yourself in the slow pace of life in the old town.
The service is the highlight. Given the cobblestone streets of the old town, which make pulling luggage difficult, the owner personally arranges for someone to help with pickup and drop-off. They enthusiastically recommend delicious flower cakes (a local delicacy) and picturesque spots for taking photos with the snow-capped mountains. Breakfast is freshly made; the chicken soup rice noodles and freshly ground coffee prepared by the auntie are excellent! And to top it off, I even received a thoughtful farewell gift from the kind owner when I checked out.
Traveling is all about the scenery and the accommodation, and this was an exceptionally good experience! Highly recommended!

Jasmin Toh 1203I am very satisfied with the service of the inn, the rooms, the decoration of the inn, the environment is very clean and beautiful
Big brothers and big sisters are very nice people! Very enthusiastic, I am very happy to stay here for a few days. Although it is short, it is very comfortable and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to come to the ancient city again, and will also recommend friends to come here! I highly recommend this inn, especially if you like small animals. You can come here to pet cats and dogs. They are all well-behaved and cute. You don’t want to leave even if you stay here!

I appreciated the convenient location and service, but the misleading tour arrangements, unexpected extra charges, and poor coordination made my overall stay frustrating and disappointing.
Location: The hotel is in the southern part of the Old Town, which has fewer crowds than other areas. It’s quieter, still beautiful, and easily accessible.
Service: The hotel offers one complimentary train/airport pickup if arranged in advance (for 3 night stay). The staff helped carry my luggage from the South Gate (cars can’t enter the Old Town) and provided welcome fruit upon request. Breakfast was as described, though the noodles were undercooked. The staff were responsive and helped me book tickets, including a trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain—but this is where things went wrong.
Initially, the hotel staff quoted me a reasonable price that matched my research and said the schedule was flexible, I could spend as much time as I like. When I went to book, they suddenly told me I needed to pay about 200 RMB more because I was a foreigner—something I knew wasn’t true from my experience in other cities. They also said lunch was mandatory. I was short on time and wanted convenience, so I accepted the extra charges.
Although I was told that jackets, oxygen bottles, and water would be provided, the driver took me and other Chinese tourists to a store to buy additional oxygen and energy drinks at four times the normal price. There I was told the “free” oxygen bottle was too small—information the hotel hadn’t mentioned. I bought one just in case but never needed it.
I booked a sunrise tour with a 5 a.m. pickup, but we didn’t actually see sunrise at the mountain—partly due to weather, partly because the schedule wasn’t designed for it. The driver took me to Blue Moon Lake first, then the cable car, and the Impression of Lijiang show last. He kept saying I was short on time, so I needed to buy an additional ticket for battery car to get around and rushed through Blue Moon Lake without knowing how long the walk should take, only to end up waiting an hour at the cable car.
After the show, we were taken to lunch, which had no menu—just a very basic hot pot shared with random strangers seated at the same table. The driver texted me to hurry up because other passengers were waiting and even told me that they didn’t pay for lunch because they knew it wasn’t good. That upset me even more. Overall, I felt rushed, overcharged, and misled, and the whole experience made the trip far less enjoyable.
Amenities: The amenities were as described, but there was no daily housekeeping or towel replacement.

Guest UserThis was truly a unique experience! The price was great, the environment was lovely, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk lady meticulously explained how to see the 'sunrise over the golden mountains' and how to explore Lijiang. The best part? The guesthouse owner turned out to be from my hometown in Chongqing, and even our neighbor! What a small world, you couldn't make this up. We drank tea in the afternoon and had drinks together in the evening – they were so incredibly hospitable! 😍 Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'm definitely staying here again. The emotional value was off the charts! 💯 Below are some real photos I took this morning. Friends, if you're going to Lijiang, this guesthouse should be your top choice.
