"The location is absolutely superb, right at the entrance of the ancient city. It's directly opposite Kaiyuan Temple and just a short walk from Chaozhou's famous Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge. The hotel itself boasts a modern design, is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the service overall was outstanding. Every staff member greeted guests with a warm smile, was proactive in answering questions, and offered excellent recommendations for local specialty dining and attractions. They even prepared a generous array of snacks in our room upon check-in. While we did encounter a minor issue with the room facilities upon arrival, it was handled and resolved perfectly. They even went above and beyond by refunding the price difference for our booking and offering a compensatory gift, ensuring it was a truly unforgettable experience."

"The hotel boasts an unbeatable location right in the heart of West Ma Road, a bustling area teeming with endless food choices available from morning till night. The rooms were spotless, and the service was incredibly prompt. What truly stood out was the absence of common hotel nuisances like low water pressure or clogged drains."

"Great for a 4 star hotel! Family room was clean though found previous guest’s sunflower seed in the living room of the suite, room and space were perfectly clean! At lvl 2 has self service laundry but very strong smoke smell as guest smokes at that lvl possibly. At the entrance, might be difficult for elderly to get onto the steps if have mobility issues as no slopes/railing available. Hope in future, slope or railings can be installed for easier access, also for those with big luggages will be helpful"

"This five-star rating is genuinely earned, not inflated or requested by the front desk. I've noticed many hotel front desks ask guests to give them a perfect score, but this one didn't. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a bustling market street. It has two adjacent parking lots, which is very convenient for those traveling by car; a kindergarten is located between them. The room was spotless, equipped with a smart assistant, and they even offered robot delivery for takeaways. All the toiletries had a pleasant orange scent. Key card access is required for the elevators. The surrounding area is packed with all sorts of eateries and snack shops, offering everything from beef hotpot to raw fish congee. A fruit dessert shop is just across the street. Service was generally satisfactory. There's a gym and free laundry facilities on the second floor. It should be quite close to Paifang Street, but unfortunately, we encountered a typhoon, so we only stayed for one night before heading to our next destination."

"I was a bit busy back, and now I have time to say a few words. The proprietress was a warm person. She went back to the room on the first night. Because of her body, she needed mineral water. She was not familiar with the side and didn't find the supermarket. The proprietress gave me the 5-liter Nongfu Spring first to solve my urgent need. Every morning, I will ask if we need to clean the room? Knowing that I need water, I will put two more bottles of water in the room every day. Although the cockroaches are small details, they are very warm. In the lobby, you can see Hanjiang Bridge and Taifo Palace. The water is very beautiful. It is a little expensive to travel during the holiday, but the most important thing is to go out smoothly, and it is worth it."

"The room itself was excellent this stay – spacious, impeccably clean, and quiet, which I really appreciated. However, there were a few areas where the service could be improved. Firstly, the breakfast. The menu was almost identical for both days, and the variety was quite limited. For guests staying two nights, the options became a bit monotonous and didn't quite meet four-star standards. Even more inconvenient was the issue with food delivery. The delivery driver didn't place the food in the delivery robot but left it directly on the front desk counter. While the delivery driver certainly shares some blame, the room number was on the receipt, yet the front desk didn't proactively inform us or remind the driver to follow procedure and use the robot. We saw the 'delivered' notification on our phone and waited for half an hour with no sign of it. It was only after we called that we found out it was at the front desk. To be honest, had we not called, who knows how long we would have waited to get our food. I suggest that in such situations, the front desk could be more proactive: either remind the delivery person to follow proper procedure, or, upon seeing an order with a room number, proactively contact the guest to confirm if they need assistance getting it delivered to their room. This would prevent a lot of confusion and unnecessary waiting. Additionally, the hotel's location is a bit far from major attractions. For tourists looking to visit many attractions, this might mean spending more time commuting. Overall, the room facilities were excellent, but if the service details could be refined, the overall experience would be significantly better."

Close to the high-speed rail station, but not close to Chaozhou Ancient City. It takes 30 minutes by taxi. In addition, there are many types of breakfast 🍳, and the taste is normal The room is clean, no big issues. The front desk service is also good and polite Overall it is acceptable But it's like a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star"

"As a family with 2 young children, it was pleasant to have two rooms of our desired arrangement that can be connected together via an inside door. The two rooms we booked are both spacious and clean. The decorations were the old-fashioned 90s luxury style. The hotel is opposite a shopping mall and it is easy to reach Walmart and Watson nearby."

"The host at this B&B was incredibly friendly. I stayed here for my civil service exam at Nanchun Middle School, and the location was unbelievably convenient – just a five-minute walk to the venue! There are also plenty of dining options right downstairs, making everything I needed easily accessible. The room itself was very quiet, ideal for studying. Plus, Paifang Street is only about 800 meters away, so I could easily visit it after my exam. Highly recommend! Five stars! 🌹🌹🌹"

"The ambiance is distinctly Chinese, and I particularly enjoyed the Song Dynasty-inspired aesthetic of their accommodations. The hotel is perfectly situated within Chaozhou Ancient City. It's just a short walk to attractions like Paifang Street, Zhenhai Tower, and West Lake. Popular sights such as Guangji Bridge, Kaiyuan Temple, and Xu Fuma's Mansion are also conveniently close by. The location is truly superb! The surrounding area is a culinary delight, with plenty of delicious food options. The charming, traditional courtyard is incredibly photogenic, making it a perfect spot for photos. The service was exceptional, very warm and attentive. A nice touch was being able to enjoy authentic Chaozhou Gongfu Tea at the front desk. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chaozhou."
