"I was on a business trip to Weishan Ancient Town for a few days and was attracted to this guesthouse by the pictures on its homepage. The reality was exactly the same as the pictures – very nice and full of ancient charm! The old wooden building with its arched doorways, the small pond in the courtyard with koi, and the many potted plants in the yard all showed how carefully they've been maintained! What impressed me most was the staff's attitude. They greeted me whenever I came or went, and even shared fruit and roasted tea – it felt as relaxed as visiting a friend's house! They also promptly helped resolve any small issues (superb!)."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is really clean, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and well located. The host is very kind and welcoming. He speaks english and is always available to provide helpful information, assist in any way he can, or just to have a chat. Weishan is also a lovely and peaceful place. "It is a garden-style B&B. The entire hotel is full of plants. The environment is quiet and clean. It is located next to Chongzheng Academy of Pioneer Bookstore. It is also a must-visit place when visiting Weishan! It is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city, and there are many restaurants, snacks and supermarkets nearby. All the staff are very friendly and warm, and the service is attentive. They provide fresh fruits, tea, tour suggestions, car rental services, and help with luggage every day. In addition to well-preserved historical buildings, rich intangible cultural heritage, and sincerity, the treasures of Weishan Warm people! It was a perfect experience!"

"Environment: Online reviews and comments described this as the most beautiful guesthouse in Weishan Ancient Town. The wooden structure is charming and the decorations are indeed beautiful. It's located in a great location within the ancient town. Service: The owner was very friendly, even though I was out early and back late. On my first day, I was working late and the main door was locked, but I called the owner to open it. Facilities: There are several tea rooms and rest areas, creating a feeling of being nestled in the mountains and by the water. The guesthouse itself has views and a courtyard. However, the bathroom's wet and dry separation wasn't very good, and the shower pressure wasn't very strong. The convenience of being in the ancient town is great, but the downside is that the old wooden structure has poor sound insulation, and the accommodation space is cramped. The tatami room, about 30 square meters, had a large area dedicated to a tea table. With two suitcases open, it was almost impossible to move around, and people were jumping around on the bed! 😂 The room had a courtyard view, and there was a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) area right by the window where children would play and relax, which was quite noisy. Privacy was also poor; I could only keep the curtains drawn. The seats near the entrance were often occupied by people chatting and relaxing. Hygiene: It can't be compared to chain hotels. Small black spots and particles were found on the bath towels and bedding. There were cobwebs in the bathroom. Being close to nature, some small insects and moths are unavoidable. Suitable for travelers who are out early and back late, and who prioritize decor and convenience."

The entire space is clean and elegant, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere. Both the common areas and the rooms are quiet and therapeutic, making it my ideal serene retreat. 👨‍🍳 **Regarding the Owner's Service:** I have to give the owner a huge thumbs up! Not only did they proactively offer pick-up and drop-off service, saving me the hassle of dragging my luggage around, but they also specially hand-brewed a cup of coffee for me when I left, which was both heartwarming and a pleasant surprise. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly attentive, helping me solve any issues promptly. It felt just like visiting a friend's home. In short, both the environment and service at this guesthouse are impeccable. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Weishan! "During my trip to Weishan, I stayed at the Weishan Nanzhao Courtyard Hotel. The overall experience was quite good, and I'd like to share some small details with you. The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance of the ancient city, making it very convenient for getting around. There are also many unique snack shops nearby, perfect for satisfying your cravings. The quaint decor captivated me upon entering. The courtyard's carved corridors, blue tiles, and red eaves exude a sense of history, creating a sense of immersion and making for stunning photos. The room's furniture is also unique, preserving a traditional style and giving you a strong sense of cultural ambiance. The staff were also friendly, checking in quickly, and even offering to help with luggage, which was very thoughtful. However, the hotel also has some imperfections. The room layout is a bit illogical, with insufficient space utilization, making movement a bit cramped. The lack of a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom was a particular problem. After showering, the entire bathroom was soaking wet, which was inconvenient and prone to slipping. I hope the hotel can improve this in the future. Overall, if you don't mind these minor shortcomings and pursue a quaint accommodation atmosphere and a convenient location, this hotel is still worth staying at and can add a different color to your trip."

"The Best Accommodation It isn't located right in the middle of the ancient town, so it isn't noisy, but it isn't far either; you can reach the center of the town with just a short walk. Although I don't speak a word of Chinese, they welcomed me via an interpreter and introduced me to the accommodation. I was touched when they asked if I had eaten dinner since I arrived late at night, perhaps intending to treat me to some. When I asked if there were any good places to eat nearby for breakfast, one of the brothers personally drove me to a restaurant. They even kindly came out to see me off when I checked out. Although it was a short 2-night, 3-day trip, Weishan Ancient Town and this accommodation were the best. If I ever come back, I will choose this accommodation without hesitation!"

"The guesthouse boasts a prime location within the ancient city. The hostess was incredibly kind and provided a travel guide upon check-in. Following the guide, I was able to sample delicious local specialties: a bowl of mixed noodles, rice cakes with fermented soybean flour, and rice rolls (I forgot to take pictures, but the papaya vinegar was amazing!). The rooms were newly renovated and looked exactly like the pictures. The courtyard was beautifully designed, making for a very pleasant stay. I also experienced the lively atmosphere of the Weishan Food Festival!"

"Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? This old house guesthouse is the perfect choice! The restored house retains its original charm; the wooden floorboards creak gently underfoot, and the exquisite wood and brick carvings exude a timeless elegance. The guesthouse is simply and elegantly furnished, without unnecessary embellishments. Here, you don't need to rush or plan your trip; simply enjoy the slow pace of life. This healing and relaxing experience made me want to stay two more nights and never leave. I'll definitely be back!"

"The service was impeccable. I had booked a pick-up service from the high-speed rail station, and a staff member was waiting at the exit with a pick-up sign. A Mercedes-Benz van picked me up. Sometimes they even take you directly to the high-speed rail station. This is much more convenient for people who don't drive. The building is a century-old Jinshi Mansion; you could easily spend half a day exploring the hotel itself. You can also feed alpacas, see peacocks, and feed goldfish. There's also a succulent garden in the back. A newly opened café, Yunxi Cafe, has several Shiba Inus at the back entrance."
