"The 888 express bus service is convenient, taking 2.5 to 3 hours to get you directly to the hotel entrance. The hotel's convenience store, however, closes rather early at 10 PM. While there's a hot spring open until 11 PM and a swimming pool on the first floor, we didn't get a chance to use the pool due to our plans to visit JUNGL IA. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, although housekeeping only replaced the towels and didn't make the bed."

"For a small overnight stay, this is a pretty good hotel in a quiet spot by the sea. But only if you rent a car. Otherwise, it's not very convenient, as the nearest store and bus stop are half an hour away. And if you're returning to the hotel late at night without a taxi, your route will take you along a completely unlit road surrounded by jungle, and all the wildlife that lives there will rustle, scream, and make other noises. 😁 But at least you can see the stars very well at night."

"February 2026 I'm not sure why the negative reviews, but as a couple, we thought the hotel was great! It's a room to stay, of course having the most updated facilities would be great, but are you really worried about that so much? In any case, decorations aside, the beds were comfy and there was a lot of space in the room. The bathroom was great and there's an anti-fog spot right next to the sink so that was nice. I guess the only ”complaint” was that sometimes the shower water was inconsistent, but because we shower together, it was kind of a nice ”you get your turn and I get mine” There's a small fridge which was good to store drinks and some snacks for the hikes we had in the area. The location was good for us as we spent a lot of time driving around the north part of the island. It had a decent view of the seaside. The pool wasn't filled as it was winter during our stay, but honestly it was fine. Sure, not a bar in the actual hotel, but who would really want to go and get overpriced drinks in ANY hotel anyway? We did the breakfast package, and honestly thought there were plenty to get. A little mix of east and west, but it was a great start to each of our days. Maybe a little overpriced, but still good. We did one dinner night, that was probably over-priced, BUT it was all you can eat on some great slices of beef. Lots of desserts and different types of food. There was also a small selection of spirits and drinks that you could have with your meal. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Service was great. Would stay again if I was doing a similar itinerary, but since we did most of everything we wanted to in the area, would probably stay in a different area anyway."

"Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us."

"Even though it's an older hotel, the facilities are top-notch; I didn't feel any of the typical shortcomings of an aging property. I stayed for 2 nights and tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each meal had its own unique characteristics. For breakfast, in addition to the standard offerings, they also had traditional chazuke (rice with tea). Lunch featured all-you-can-eat king crab legs, which were tender and fresh. Besides the regular desserts, you could also order a complimentary chocolate brownie cake (it's made to order, so not on display, but brought to your table after you order), which was delicious. Lunch also had freshly made tempura. It was truly made to order; two older servers would fry as much as you wanted, one frying and one plating. The only downside was having to wait patiently for them to finish frying. Dinner included mussels, smoked salmon, and seafood sashimi rice bowls. For dessert, they even had canelés, my absolute favorite! Both lunch and dinner offered steaks, which were decent, meeting the basic requirements of being tender, juicy, and having a slightly chewy exterior. The hotel's environment is also wonderful, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The pasta served at both lunch and dinner was excellent."

"The hotel had a great location, in between Sesoko island and Motobu Genki Village. Several restaurants and izakayas were in walking proximity, as well as convenience stores and even a bakery. I was in luck and got an apartment on the top floor with a view facing the ocean. The hotel was clean and my room well equipped. There is a breakfast and lunch spot right next door, and there is also a vending machine for various drinks just outside. The manager and the staff were oh so helpful and polite. Good to know - after 20:00 the main entrance is shut, but guests can still access the building through a side door with their room key. Super positive experience!"

"At the check in, we were told boldly by someone behind the counter that the Orion Bar “is closed forever”. It’s disappointing as we came for that. And would be great to mention to guest before they book something."

"Large resort with everything you need. Building and rooms are dated f(it was built in the ‘90’s) so don’t expect card keys or USB ports. However, the rooms are spacious and clean, service is attentive, and the facility was constructed with attention to detail. For example, the bathroom mirror is heated, balcony rails are wide and flat with a surface (perfect for placing a beer while taking in the view) instead of tubular, and there are laundry machines and beer vending machines on each floor. I’d recommend and stay here again."

"My first stay in Kouri Island. In one word, it was the best. I was a little surprised at the way to arrive, but the view from the hotel room and rooftop was so beautiful that it took my breath away. The room was just as cute and clean as the pictures, and the jacuzzi overlooking the Kouri Bridge was amazing. It was just the right distance for a walk to Kouri Beach. The owner was very kind and took a photo for me on the rooftop. I would like to use it again."
