"What an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely. The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms… heaven! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—always smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation. Honestly, it’s rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places we’ve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesn’t have 5 stars officially—it’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot on Koh Lanta, don’t hesitate—come to Twin Lotus Resort & Spa. You won’t regret it for a second. "It doesn't get any better than this!! I've been to Koh Lanta many times and have never seen such a wonderful place! The hotel owners take care of absolutely everything, and you get lots of tips, tricks, free fruit, and much more. The entire property is perfectly maintained and couldn't be cleaner, all the staff are incredibly helpful in every way, and the hotel is located in one of the quietest spots on Koh Lanta, despite being very central. We couldn't recommend this place more highly ❤️"

"We stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming."

"The reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation."

"Mornings in the mountains were magical: sunshine, sudden downpours, misty clouds, the calls of monkeys, the singing of birds... Suddenly, I found myself thinking that trekking up and down the slopes two or three times a day wasn't so bad after all! [grinning emoji] As my departure approaches, I'd like to share my review of this hotel. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, and the balcony was enormous – even bigger than the room itself! (If you're not worried about the local monkeys making off with your belongings, you can really spread out there! [laughing-crying emoji]) The air conditioning was excellent, the water pressure was strong, and surprisingly, the water wasn't salty at all. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly. Once you head down the hill, within a five-minute walk, you'll find everything you need: the beach, a 7-Eleven, a laundry shop, travel agencies, and the famous Lanta Pizza. The hotel also has its own scooter rentals available, and you can usually bargain the price down to match what you'd find at shops outside. If you inquire when booking, there are a few room types located lower down the hill. However, the two-bedroom villas and rooms near the infinity pool are all situated on the ridge. For young couples who appreciate peace and quiet, I highly recommend these options. But for multi-generational families with elderly members and young children, like ours, I'd advise choosing carefully. A special thank you to NI at the front desk for her absolutely outstanding service! And also to the lovely young lady (whose name I didn't catch, but she was so sweet and wonderful) who served us at the hilltop poolside restaurant. Thank you all for giving us a perfect holiday!"

"Very nice hotel, clean rooms with a bathtub. Has all the necessary amenities including umbrellas in the rain as it was raining so much here. They even have transport to bring you from the room to the main lobby. They also provide transport to the pier. The hotel is located a short walk away from the beach."

"Just got back from an incredible stay at Long Beach Chalet in Koh Lanta, and honestly, I’d totally recommend it! The location is perfect — right on the beach with stunning views and epic sunsets that made every evening special. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Room cleaning was always spot on and right on time, which was much appreciated. We had a blast even in the low season — there’s always something happening, like different shows every night, which kept things fun. The spa was a standout — so professional, super clean, and the massages on the beach were just wow. They also offer yoga classes if you're into that vibe. Their coffeeshop is a hidden gem — great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and an impressive selection of cheesecakes. And the breakfast options…. Delicious and plentiful, perfect way to start the day. All in all, a fantastic spot to chill and unwind. If you're heading to Koh Lanta, definitely consider this place. We had an awesome time!"

"Das Zimmer war für den Preis deutlich besser, als wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Soweit sauber und für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend. Man ist nah am Pier und kommt also schnell von der Fähre zur Unterkunft und umgekehrt. Nur um den Rest der Insel zu sehen, muss man etwas laufen oder ein TukTuk nehmen. Gerne wieder bei dem Preis."

"The staff are courteous and helpful. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one. The location is excellent if you want to be close to shops, services, and the walking street. The hotel is a bit dated but has a beautiful sea view, though the beach isn't directly accessible from the hotel. The tide goes out, making it perfect for a lovely sunset stroll in the evening. The sheets were clean, but the pillows less so; they had a very strong smell, and I had to put a towel over them to cover it. We didn't use the pool because we rented a scooter and explored the island, which has beautiful, secluded beaches. However, we did notice that the pool area was very crowded (the sun loungers), but it was clean. We understand that the price was in line with the quality of the property. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Overall, it's a great hotel if you want to save some money and be close to amenities."

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying here, I came here last year and didn’t think twice to stay somewhere new on the island. Lanta@home is a wonderful place to stay. The man and his wife who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people, honestly some of the kindest people I have ever met I’d say. They always greet you with big smiles and are super accommodating and friendly. Lanta@Home is very clean and safe and is in a great location - minutes from the beach, restaurants, and place to rent a motorbike to explore the island. 10/10, highly recommend.

JJanUpon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. GGuest UserWonderful find. I spent hours trying to find rhe right place and I did. Rim Khao is a lovely little group of bungalows that back into the forest, but are conveniently on the main road and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. This is a brilliant place for a really good price. I spent hours watching the monkeys, ants, lizards, frogs, birds and butterflies that were very present. As I had no transport and only a walking budget, was limited where I went. But there was enough. The beach is beautiful for swimming and sunbathing. There is little shade, but if you walk to the end of the beach, theres a lot more shade there. If tou are happy to scramble the rocks, there is plenty of wildlife there too....fish, a billion crabs and brazen seabirds.there are plenty of restaurants, both local and tourist all just a stones throw away and the walking street is as good as any. The room was very quiet with air con and a fan that were efficient. The hot water was plentiful in the shower and cleaners were operating every day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and English was really strong which of course is always appreciated , but never expected. The pool is more of a plunge pool, but thats all i personally ever need. You may consider it needs a bit of tlc, but it didnt bother me. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the road could barely be heard.just remember that the call to prayer can be heard almost everywhere. Oh, and a 7/eleven right next door. Amazing, and i hope to go back.

The lady at reception was so sweet and helpful, the room & pool were lovely, and I personally loved exploring the abandoned areas of the hotel (tip - if you go through the *slightly creepy* derelict area you get the most beautiful private beach to yourself!!). It's more like a serviced apartment than a hotel so manage your expectations, but that was perfect for me

IIvan KraljThere are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

SST & PSFront desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location. Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal). Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage. One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time. Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day). Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program. Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach. Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay. Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better. Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded. Will I stay again? Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists. No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

DDsonTSri Lanta is a haven to escape the crowds, while having enough services around to keep you occupied in this corner of the beach. The rooms are classy and clean, save for a dirty kettle, with daily room service. There's direct access to the beach via a convenient tunnel, which opens up to their pool, restaurant, bar and beach chairs. The bar owner is very friendly and his prices are reasonable to keep you happy for your stay. Shout out to Lisa, the concierge that made our stay a bit more personal and lovely each day

LLisaM23We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too. The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11. The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can). The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄 Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

DDenis VinogradovGreat value for money hotel. We didn't opt for breakfast. It's about a 1 km walk to 7/11 and the beach is also around 1 km away. But we had a scooter, so we explored a new beach every day. We stayed opposite the water park, on the second floor of a bungalow. The room was large, with a terrace. Housekeeping is done on request. You can rent a scooter at the hotel for 250 baht, which is cheaper than on the street. What I loved about the island is that you can easily cruise around on a scooter without traffic. There are many beaches and places to visit.
