A11 Hotel Bosphorus

Istanbul|2.34km from Bosphorus Bridge

The Stay Bosphorus

Besiktas Istanbul|0.79km from Bosphorus Bridge
We decided to stay at The Stay in Bosphorus for 2 days prior to us heading to Capadocia. I can't thank them enough for getting us a room when we first got there. Our flight came in at 5am so we got to the hotel after a 11 hour flight from Miami and were exhausted. They ended up putting us in a room that was not in the main building but right next to it across the street in a smaller area. So if you are coming from the USA this is not a western hotel but more of a European hotel. If you haven't travel much there is a difference and your expectation need to be aligned. It was on the second floor, FYI no elevators which is common but this didn;t bother us. The room was very nice but very small. again, European style hotel. The decor was very nice, Fantastic Beds and Pillows. Slept like a baby all morning trying to recouped from our travels. After our nap we wanted to take a look around. Again, This location is amazing. The Mosque is with in 100 ft away, not that this is my thing but it does give a nice environment to the experience. The water is less then 50 ft away with piles and piles of shops to do either shopping, snacking, drinking and eating. After walking around we took another cat nap and woke up around 4 and felt we needed to do something. I ask the hotel for his suggestion and he suggested doing a Private sunset boat cruise. This was an hour and a half cruise that took you thru out the local area. The price was extremely fair, actually very inexpensive to USA standards. They set up a water taxi, had a staff member grab us a couple of beers, and off we went. When I say was way above our expectation it was AMAZING!!!! We had a 50 ft yacht all to ourselves. It was just what the doctor ordered after a long trip. They also set up a wonderful restaurant for us to eat at after our Cruise. They went over and beyond expectation. Now, I will give a heads up, this hotel is in a wonderful location but the downside of this is your next to all the clubs. If hearing music late at night is going to bother you, this might not be the place for you. I wouldn't go to the extent of saying its LOUD but you can hear the base. This doesn't bother my wife or myself so this wasn't an issue but you will hear it if you stay at this location. Its unavoidable. Last praise for The Stay was the last night they were able to get us wonderful seats at this sushi restaurant on the Third floor next door. If your going here you have to eat here. Views were amazing and the food was Fantastic. Mufasa took wonderful care of us and it was a fantastic last night dinner in Bosphorus. Thank you to all the staff at THE STAY. We had a wonderful time so Thank you. Rick

This hotel was recently renovated with spacious and comfortable rooms. But the added value is their people that work there: well trained, polite and friendly, easy and very willing to assist in everything. Just take care on the central lighting system (when you enter the door on the central light system), that you might open the red light (”don't disturb” ) so that you will not have the daily room maid (cleaning). Bear in mind the fact that there is a light sensor inside the room, in case that you wake up and you want to go to the bathroom, so that you can see easily while walking from bed to WC: If you wake up easily during your sleep, this can make you feel uncomfortable during your sleep. Sensor is very sensitive and activates lights, even when you turn over the bed, in some cases! In the bathroom some clutches are missing about putting the towels on (only two clutches are back of the WC door and that's all, for 4 towels and 2 bathrobes) In case you have a book ”room only”, no stress: Cafe Zero is the entrance of the hotel, starting early in the morning, with a lot of varieties to eat and cafe choices. I would also recommend the elevators to operate only with room cards for safety reasons (even if there is a doorman at the hotel entrance. the hotel offers valet parking services as well. Will be back for sure !

Had a fantastic stay, they upgraded us to the junior suite which was incredibly kind. The staff are amazing, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Many reviews complain about the noise, and indeed it is on a busy road but the windows in the bedrooms have very thick glass so you can barely hear any of the outdoor noise. Overall, a wonderful stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Not a great hotel. Position overlooking the Bosphorus is the only semi-nice thing about this hotel. In a busy street. Almost impossible to get an uber or taxi with no offered assistance from staff. A very busy bar/nightclub next to the hotel with loud noise, valet service screaming and hooting outside the hotel until 4am - thereafter cleaning until 6am. Rooms need a refresh and are dingy. Terrible natural and room lighting. Hotel appears understaffed and staff that are there not proactive and seems generally unconcerned I am not the fussiest of travellers but I would not recommend this hotel nor stay here again

I've been at the hotel twice, and each time I do, I feel incredibly comfortable and grateful. The staff is quite hospitable, and the rooms are rather clean. They constantly provide a polite greeting and the stuff assist in all way. The hotel's proximity to the Bosphorus, which can be reached on foot, is extremely convenient for tourists.
