Stylish Hotel Old City Reviews

The hotel located in a very nice place inside the old town of istanbul. However there are some cavities. The room is small but ok for 1-2 nights but no way longer. Outside is extremely noisy at night and early morning with several mosques and churches are ringing and singing all day. The receptionist are very kind and helpful and can speak english a bit too. Overall i’m ok staying there for 2 nights to do my shoppings.

Good place, very clean, comfi shower. Everyday cleaning. Just great. Quiet in evening although it is in old town. Friendly staff. I did not have a chair but I had a desk. But if I’d asked for it, they would have given it to me probably. Wifi not good but that’s probably the same in other hotels. I would prefer to stay in Asian side next time but that has nothing to do with this hotel.

Cheap and simple suits in old building. The stuff is polite but not suituble for demanding travellers.

The service was very friendly. Because the family room was noisy, we changed to a quiet double room on the ground floor. The hotel is in a good location. In the old town. But the bathroom smells. The price/performance ratio is OK.

I made a reservation from Japan two weeks ago. When I arrived at the hotel on the day, I was told that the hotel was fully booked. I was introduced to AvsinHotel, which was a short walk away, at no extra charge, but it was a terrible hotel. The room was dirty and unsanitary, the lobby was close and people's voices could be heard, and there was no safety or privacy at all. I had paid for two nights in advance, but changed to another nice hotel after one night. The AvsinHotel staff had no doubts about a customer who was planning to stay two nights but would leave after one night. The AvsinHotel staff have no regard for manners or the feelings of the customers. The OldCityHotel staff was nice, but I don't understand why they didn't inform me by email that the hotel was fully booked and that I would be introduced to a different hotel on the day. If they had informed me in advance, I would have had time to think about it. But it was past 9pm on the day, and I didn't have the time or energy to look for a different hotel. I trusted Trip.com and booked a hotel, but I don't plan to use it again.

The toilet will smell a bit if the exhaust is always on, but everything else is ok In the old town, eating nearby is much cheaper than in the scenic area The guy at the front desk has been to China and will force people to socialize🫶🏻🤣

The hotel is very bad, especially dirty and messy, the bed is still broken, not recommended, don't be greedy

The service of the front desk guy is just one word: great! Enthusiastic and responsible. My room is on the third floor. Because their first floor is the ground floor, it is actually the fourth floor in China. It is inconvenient for me to carry my luggage, so they helped me carry it up and down. The room is also very clean, and there are all kinds of food around.

Pros: The service attitude of the boss and employees is very good 👍 The room is spacious and cleaned every day. The location is OK. Cons: If the room is close to the road, it will be very noisy at night, and you can hear the voices of passers-by chatting late at night. The bed is too soft, I don’t like it very much, I like to sleep on a hard bed.

The price/performance ratio is good. There are residential businesses nearby. The restaurants and bakeries are cheap and delicious. The orange juice on the roadside is also cheaper than on the main road.

This hotel is very clean and cleaned every day. The walls are a little thin, but the staff are very helpful.
