Excellent Stay in the Heart of Sultanahmet Our stay at the Celal Sultan Hotel was exceptional. The location is perfect—just minutes from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. With 4 adults travelling plus 1 year old baby, I booked 2 connected rooms. They gave us Rooms 112 and 113. Just perfect. Rooms were clean, comfortable, From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine sense of care from the staff, who went out of their way to make our experience as comfortable and memorable as possible.. Breakfast was a highlight, generous, fresh, and full of variety, including traditional Turkish items and continental options. The 5th floor roof terrace has breathtaking views of Hagia Sophia. Special thanks to Rose who cleaned our rooms, Cihan for advice on tours and Rezul who helped us with all our luggages. Great value, great service, great location!

The walls are thin and sometimes hear voices from the side.Have arranged taxi servise several times, but there is no reply..

Clean and decent room size. Location also not far from Hagia Sophia mosque and breakfast spread was ok. The drawback were several unfriendly hotel staff members that made us feel unwelcome. Luckily, it was our last day in Istanbul.

rooms were clean our room was on the front of the hotel and on the 1st floor so very noisey, cleaners in the morning cleaning the rooms above theyd be dragging the beds and it would wake us up. the ac wpuld work during the night it would be set to eco setting but would worl in the morning as the rooms were super small the rooms would get stuffy but the ac wouldnt work youd have to open the window which would then get the room very cold the room refridgerator was on but didnt keep our drinks cold

Location of the hotel is very strategic, just 2 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque. Hotel is very nicely decorated with lots of mirrors, and I loved it. Rooms are nice, but quite small, specially the single ones. Breakfast enough diverse and tasty. Had issue with the hotel upon arriving - they asked to pay extra money for my booking (what was acts 65% of the total price I already paid), motivating it that Trip.com doubled the discount. After contacting trip.com I had to pay that amount, and trip.com made a refund to me.

We stayed in triple rooms but with only 2 persons still felt uncomfortable. The room is obviously too small for 3 .

Fantastic stay

The location of the hotel is very, very good, everything can be reached on foot, the service is also great, the facilities depend on the room category and it is a matter of taste, and the breakfast is sufficient.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The hotel itself is unfortunately showing its age. We could hardly sleep at night and had to buy earplugs because the floor on the fourth floor was so old and creaky that we could hear every footstep of the residents upstairs. When we complained, we were told that a family had moved out and a few were now living there, so things should get better. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, as we heard loud noises every night (5 nights) between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. On some days, they started again as early as 6 a.m. When we got to the room, there were no towels and there were long black hairs all over the floor. After complaining, it wasn't cleaned until the next afternoon. Next time, I'll spend a little more money and rent a more decent hotel.

Cleanliness Neither good nor bad. Passable. Cleanliness is good. Location Excellent. Within walking distance to major tourist sites. Service The front desk and staff are very friendly. However, I may have misunderstood what they said, but they never called my room for a wake-up call. Facilities Water leaks from the shower room into the toilet. It would be better if it was a completely private room. The walls are thin, so I couldn't fall asleep easily because I could hear the sound of prayer in the middle of the night.

Good hotel at a reasonable price

The location from the attractions is very good, and the sanitation, environment, and breakfast are all very satisfactory. Our family of three stayed here for a few days while transiting. When we arrived on the first day, we were very sleepy and it was very hot outside. The front desk kindly let us check in at 12:30 in advance.
