Kathmandu Hotels with Jacuzzi

"Stayed here before my flight out of KTM. Free airport pickup and drop-off is a nice perk. The downside: I requested late checkout due to an evening flight, but it was refused and I had to pay half-day rate. That was frustrating. Positives: Housekeeping staff were helpful (quick with fresh towels and trash), restaurant food was tasty, and the front desk gave a warm farewell. Good for a transit stay if you don't need flexible checkout."

"The Hotel Barahi Kathmandu is in a great location, walking distance to great souvenirs in Thamal, tourist sites like the Garden of Dreams and the former Royal Palace. The hotel staff were so friendly, engaging and helpful. The hotel has a pool up on level 7 with great views of Kathmandu. The only flaw with the pool is it is surrounded by the restaurant, so no one swims in it. I had a suite the room was beautiful, very happy with the cleanliness and room service. The only flaw with the room is that it backed on to the service area for staff who were all working very hard, but there was banging and clanging all night and morning."

"I used it again after returning from Everest Base Camp. The room on the top floor was very nice to spend a relaxing time in front of the roof terrace. The shower also has hot water."

"The hotel is conveniently located and the room had a nice traditional design. However, I encountered a strong smell in the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. I burned incense to improve the air, which unexpectedly led to a dispute with the hotel about compensation. The amount they requested was surprisingly high and difficult for me to understand. Eventually, the issue was resolved through the booking platform, but the experience was stressful and not something I expected on my trip. I hope the hotel can handle such situations with more flexibility and understanding in the future"

"Convenient Stay Near Kathmandu Airport The hotel is very well-located—close to the airport and right in the center of Kathmandu. Airport pickup and drop services were provided, which made our travel hassle-free. Food: The breakfast buffet was good, and the highlight was definitely the poori bhaji. However, the Nepal Thali was disappointing and needs improvement. Rooms & Property: Rooms were a bit small but had all essential toiletries. The building is a 7-story structure, so don’t expect spacious gardens or play areas for kids. Facilities: Swimming Pool: Available, but since it’s not temperature-controlled, it’s not practical in colder weather. Parking: Bikes should ideally be parked in B2, but there’s no lift access to B2, so you have to walk to the ground floor to use the lift. Suggestions for Improvement: Make the swimming pool temperature-controlled for year-round usability. Provide better access to B2 parking or reconsider the arrangement. Improve the quality of the Nepal Thali."

"Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, modern facilities, and an elegant ambiance, with superb service. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, and the staff even prepared a special farewell cake and ceremony. My only regret is that all the surfaces in the room were covered in a layer of dust, despite the overall appearance of cleanliness."

"Every time I go, I will stay here for a night or two now, in the downtown area, you can go shopping downstairs, but it will not affect the rest, the breakfast is very good, and the masala tea is quite delicious, the owner is also very nice, you can also Help arrange the vehicle with the driver to arrange the itinerary, etc., but only if you speak good English, breakfast is in a garden, it is quite quiet, the price is particularly high, and it is recommended!"

"We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for their warmth hospitality & comfort during our stay."
