Excellent and professional service from all staff we met. Everyone was helpful and questions were answered with a smile. Our room had a lovely view over the pool area and was always cleaned(even without the clean sign). The choice of food in the buffet was excellent, catering for all tastes. The gardens of the hotel were pleasant to walk through and allowed easy access for anyone with mobility issues. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and one we would recommend.

Fantastic hotel!! Spent 6 days here and had a lovely time. Food, pool, room and staff were excellent. A little disappointed as we did book this as a birthday booking but there was no acknowledgment of this - despite seeing other people getting acknowledgment of other special occasions. Only small complaint was that the kids entertainment show was a lot later in the evening than expected and fairly loud and disruptive for adults having an evening drink!! Otherwise great - we will be back!

Just arrived on a Friday afternoon noon flight from luton. Massive site but served at reception immediately and processed immediately. In room overlooking sea in 20 minutes and eating prawns in buffet (we have gone half board) 30 mins later. What ever you like, you will find something fantastic here - now we like nearly everything and we're nit disappointed by the chef cooked grilled fish for mains and Massive prawns for starters. I have been tea total for a while to tet in shape but put a house white on the tab to celebrate.

Really enjoyed our stay here as a family of 3. The hotel is lovely and clean all throughout and has many perks. We don’t eat in the hotel in the evening as we like to explore the area for food so cannot comment on the evening meal but was told it wasn’t great. The breakfast and lunch were absolutely fine and the breakfast had fresh omelettes being made for you which were beautiful. It is very repetitive on a lunch time which does get a bit boring I don’t think I could stay longer than a week for that reason. The pool areas are great both great sizes and plenty of sun loungers available. Pool bars are close and had a snack bar which was great for the kids too. The water slide park is fantastic and great for all ages! The drinks were the typical all inclusive cheap spirits etc which my partner drank as I don’t drink much anyway. They are drinkable however but the cocktails are lovely (I had a few and the frozen mojitos are amazing!) The staff are lovely and welcoming and help you with what you need. The entertainment are wonderful and really try to make your stay as fun as possible. It is a quiet place in Jandía so don’t expect busy *****s like Corralejo as it’s the complete opposite. They’re are a few restaurants down the bottom of the VERY LONG AND STEEP hill the hotels located at the top of. Not much nightlife and bustling bars nearby if that’s what you’re after you will be disappointed lol. It does feel like most of the restaurants offer the same food (steak, pasta, burgers), however there is a Chinese restaurant in Jandía just before Morro Jable and it is gorgeous if you fancy a change! Taxis are cheap enough if you’re lazy like us and don’t fancy hiking back up the hill and they’re quick. The rooms are clean and well equipped, WiFi is hit and miss but we didn’t really require it as we get free mobile data abroad. Overall we would visit again definitely simply for the absolutely stunning beach that stretches across for miles. The best beach we’ve ever been to it’s beautiful!

The pools are amazing perfect for kids go from really shallow to deep. The daytime entertainment is excellent always something going on very friendly staff a big up to Anderson and the girl with the tattoo sleeve on her left arm she was amazing too they work very hard. All the staff throughout the hotel do a great job. The food breakfast was perfect plenty on offer all cooked right the tea was definitely over average there was some foods there that tasted amazing plenty of choice. The hotel itself is on a great complex the rooms are big enough and comfy. Anything that you need just ask the staff they’re always ready to help and they sorted everything out for us we asked for. The beach is absolutely amazing the best beach I have ever been on. The town is good it has quite a few shops and bars and a couple of nightclubs/bars that stay open till Daft o’clock the taxis from the hotel to town are only €5 or a half hour walk down the big hill and along the front. At the bottom of the hill of hotel there is a few bars and places to eat and an arcade very cheap food and drink in the arcade café there is also a Burger King right next door. It’s a mixed nationality hotel which I thought was great I got on really well with a lot of the people. We got lucky As our week away we had a great bunch of families also there and we’re all on the same page which made our holiday even better so much fun through the day. The only bad bit of our holiday is the entertainment wasn’t so good but it was still okay to watch it was just a shame the hotel wasn’t in the town so you could just have a little nip out if the entertainment wasn’t for you you had to commit to a taxi or a long walk. The waterpark is great for the kids you can come and go whenever you please and get food and drink over there also. I noticed a wall was bursting near the pool with some big rocks in it I told the lifeguard they got someone down to have a look and didn’t do nothing about it it was very dangerous so I went upstairs and spoke to one of the staff on the desk she was very good English. She asked me to take her to it so I showed her and she got on her phone and sorted it out they came and put a barrier ***** along it so people could see something was going on I still believe they should’ve sorted it out there and then the most of the day after that I was literally telling people to watch out for it all it needed was a nudge and it was going to fall however the next morning by 9 am it had been rebuilt and left perfect And safe. Have a good look around the hotel because there is a bar upstairs you can use with a TV for sports there’s also a fridge to get food out of after hours sandwiches etc . If you need bottles of water for your room just ask over the bar they will give you a big one or more honestly for us this hotel is nearly perfect. One thing I would say is stay away from the scooters outside the hotel they will not turn off when you want to park them up and you keep getting charged we ha

We are here at the moment and the hotel is wonderful . Fantastic size with lovely features . Very warm and inviting . Our rooms are fab as we have an interconnecting room with our daughters who absolutely love the hotel itself. I’m sad to only give it an average review but unfortunately. Food is plenty of but warm at best and sometimes cold. Extremely noisy at meal times ( most plates have chips in them due to being thrown around by staff ) also now sawing from early morning as they are doing something in the main restaurant. Smoking by the family pool ? I just can’t get over this . The hotel is up a hill which is steep so not appropriate for some people but Ona good note taxi’s are only 5 euros to town or back from town . Housekeeping later the duvet on all our beds and just put the sheet over the top 😂 We had to make our own bed ( we’ll just put the actual duvet into its cover ) .

Food very bad especially for vegararians. Ants and Cockroaches everywhere. Some entertainment OK some very bad. Alcohol drinks not the best. My son left his 2 favourite soft teddies in the room didn't realise until we flew home contacted the hotel only to be told the same thing each time we rang thomas was either away or not available that day so ring back. after 6 times contacting the hotel we have given up on getting our sons teddies back. Entertainment team very friendly. Nice pools but freezing. We would not go back to this hotel.

Great family hotel. The rooms are spotless and house keeping does a fantastic job. The beds are the comfiest I have ever slept in. Pools are lovely and clean , plenty of sun beds didn’t have an issue getting a bed at any time of the day. One pool is heated , the other isn’t but it wasn’t so cold you couldn’t get in. The water park is great fun , and has plenty of sun loungers. Food is available pretty much all day with various items for breakfast , lunch and dinner , you can always find something to eat. The snack bar by the pool does pizzas , toasties burgers , fries and loads more options. The drinks are great in the all inclusive, branded soft drinks and spirits available (non branded ) the bar tenders will make you cocktails and mixers and worked really hard. Slush drinks available , and mojito / pina colada slushes for adults. The hotel workers are great , hard working polite and can’t do enough. Entertainment through out the day by the pool and on every evening. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Walking distance to the beach , it is on a hill no issues for us but people with mobility issues may struggle.

A very nice and pleasant family stay in a hotel with a family-like-feeling from the whole team at Occidental Jandía Mar. Every day the room was cleaned and everyone was so polite. We had all-inclusive for a week and it was so nice not to think about making dinner for once 😍
