Overall is an pleasant stay for a day trip. I requested for a high floor with great city view, the hotel recept was able to cater to my request. Room was spacious, clean and no smell. Room has a ceiling fan too with adjustable temperature air-con. Location is about 10 mins walk to City square mall. There are also many eateries near the hotel and across the road. Only con is not much facilities in the hotel. Will look forward to book the hotel again.

A cozy hotel. The hotel is located near to CIQ, just a 7 mins walk. Hotel staffs are friendly too. Highly recommend!

I check in on November 13-14 an overnyt stay in the hotel. Its very near to City Square mall its only a walking distance. The room is clean and spacious also minimalist. The toilet is clean too with a nice shower on top. Front desk staff shud welcome customer nicely with a smile. BUT, My unlikely experience was upon our checkout we didnt noticed that my husband forget his Puma Jacket. I only notice more than an hour or so. Luckily upon check out the hotel message me to thanking for choosing them ffor my stay. Since i left my jacket i replied to the message and ask them. They replied few minutes to check. BUT, they confirmed that no jacket left. I truely believed that i really left the jacket at my room. So i messaged them again at nighy telling that i also confirmed that my jacket was in my the room. And maybe the cleaner took my jacket. Off course, who else will take. Only the cleaner who clean when we left. I said if you really confirm no one saw my jacket but I myself confirming that i do left it. So i tell them its ok, never mind. Honesty is the best policy. In the end they message me and say the found it. See, i would like to comment there staff for being dishonest also. When the cleaner saw a left behind they should report to the lobby and call customer that they left something in there room.  So when they really got my jacket. I ask them to send to my 2nd hotel that i checked in just a few meters away. So apparently they did send my jacket. They shud out of good will right. So pls next time. Z hotel! Pls be honest and report if there is any left behind items from the customer and right away message or call them. Thank you!  In the 4th photo is the jacket that they send to my hotel.

We arrived an hour before check-in time and were able to check in early. The check-in process was fast and the staff were friendly. The place is clean and nice! I appreciate that the toilet has ventilation, so it doesn't feel stuffy. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from customs, and the Karat Basar is right beside the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

My husband's favorite hotel to stay whenever we're in JB. There's a Halal Chinese Mee Tarik located besides the hotel Pasar Karat ( Night Market ), open daily except for Mondays which is opposite of the hotel. Walking distance to City Square, Komtar and Kotaraya. We will be back again.

Very good service from the staffs. Big room and clean room. Will book again for next trip.

The hotel located at Jln Wong Ah Fook, JB. The hotel room clean n spacious. Nice City view with the sunset from 18th floor. Staff is helpful n friendly. Parking free provide by the hotel. Easy to get food n drink AT the surrounding area.

Aircon was really weak, but there’s a small mama shop just beside the hotel. Hotel room was pretty spacious, overall good for short stay.

I felt very comfortable and safe because they have the best safety measures in place and all the staff are very friendly. The room was very clean and everything was just like in the picture.🥰

Location was good, not far from CIQ. But, hotel without breakfast and restaurant. Anyway, general not bad and acceptable.

The beds are comfortable and toilet is clean(come with all necessary toiletries except lotion), but the two artworks/pictures hanging on the wall near the beds are not properly clean, and it blocked you from having a good position to lean on the wall to read or look at your handphone as the hanging positions are too low. The reception also took my identity card for registration and did not return to me on the spot. That's a bit scary even though they came to my room 1/2 hour later to return it while I was taking the shower.

Good location near the Johor Bahru immigration checkpoint CIQ. Lots of food and night markets across the street and around the vicinity.

I’ve stayed at this hotel more than 10 times, but this stay was by far the most disappointing one. The room was very dusty, both of us couldn’t sleep well as our noses kept itching every time we turned. Cleanliness really wasn’t up to standard this time. It’s also not our first time celebrating a birthday here, and while I understand requests are subject to availability, I did indicate in the booking that we were returning to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was quite disappointing to find the room completely plain without any gesture or effort. Considering the room rate wasn’t cheap this round, it’s a pity that the experience fell short. What keeps us coming back has always been the location — walking distance to City Square and Jalan Ah Fook — but I’m starting to wonder if I’m asking for too much as a regular guest.

Convenient location along Jalan Wong Ah Fook. Many good food surrounding within walking distance. Night market on Saturday. However sound proofing not ideal. Past midnight can still hear the noise downstairs (traffic) and also other rooms/corridor. Room has basic amenities. Only bath towels, no face towels provided.
