I didn’t enjoy nothing, loads of mosquitoes and they fumigated while we checked in and had to inhale all that every night as it’s manual fumigation

Extremely bad. On the surface, they hang lanterns to make money during the Spring Festival, but in reality, they are very unfriendly to Chinese people, putting us in the worst rooms and charging us extra.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Seacliff Hotel Resort & Spa from 23 June to 30 June 2026, and we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are immaculate, and the breathtaking surroundings create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. A very special thank you goes to our waitress, Jovina, and the entire restaurant team. Their exceptional service, genuine friendliness, and warm smiles made every meal a pleasure. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently made us feel like valued guests. I also celebrated my 50th birthday during our stay on 26 June, and the team made it an unforgettable occasion. They surprised me with a beautifully decorated table, “50” balloons, a delicious birthday cake, and a wonderful performance of singing and dancing. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt celebration that made my milestone birthday incredibly special, and I will treasure those memories forever. During our stay, my husband also became unwell. The care and concern shown by the staff were truly remarkable. They immediately arranged for a doctor to assist him and ensured he received the necessary medication without hesitation. Their prompt response, compassion, and professionalism gave us great peace of mind, and we are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care they provided. I had the pleasure of staying at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar for 4 days, and they were truly the best 4 days of my holiday. The resort exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety at every meal. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained throughout my stay. What impressed me most was the wide range of facilities. As a golfer, I especially loved the golf course—it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. The pools, stunning ocean views, and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The resort is also known for having Zanzibar's only golf course. I highly recommend Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar to anyone visiting Zanzibar. I can't wait to return!

I recently stayed at Sea Cliff Resort in Zanzibar, and it was an unbelievable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were nothing but welcoming and lovely. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, always happy to help, and constantly greeted us with a smile, whether it was morning or night. The hotel itself offers so many activities that you’ll never run out of things to do. From mini golf and pickleball to the amazing golf course and beautiful driving range, there is something for everyone. There are also plenty of water sports available, including catamaran sailing and SUP boarding. Honestly, with so many activities to choose from, I don’t think you could ever get bored. The facilities are fantastic. The pools are absolutely spectacular at all hours of the day, and I especially loved the jetty bar, which is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Our room was very nice and was always well looked after by the housekeeping team. They would leave the room looking lovely every day, and I really appreciated the extra touches. Each evening they would come and close the mosquito net for us and even spray the room (I’m guessing it was bug spray), which really helped with the mosquitoes. I would honestly say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and my overall experience was beyond five stars. The food was also amazing. Each night is dedicated to a different cuisine, giving guests a wonderful variety of dishes to enjoy, and every meal was delicious. The attention to detail was excellent too, as the table settings and overall atmosphere were carefully matched to each evening’s theme. I would like to give a special thank you to Aidani, the master cocktail maker, who creates unbelievable cocktails and is truly talented. I would also like to thank Musa, who has excellent customer service skills and always greets you with a smile, and finally Abbas, who consistently made sure we were happy and having a positive experience throughout our stay. Additionally, I’d like to give a special thank you to Edson, who was incredibly easygoing and attentive throughout our stay. I’d also like to extend my gratitude to all the staff members for their kindness and assistance during our time at the hotel, including Steven, Ashley, Joshua, Sophie, and Happiness, who are all amazing members of the team. Their warm hospitality and dedication helped make our stay truly enjoyable and memorable. Overall, I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Very good and friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner buffet delicious. Suprise birthday celebration the cake. Rooms very clean akunamata jumbo. Security very tight the place is safe. Free Shuttle to stone town and Drivers are friendly. Receptionist- Mr Abou and Mr Issa warm welcome we received thank you jumbo your smile we really appreciate. The Manager Mr Abas is so professional and take care of the guest. The evening team prepared suprised setup,cake,bedding decor what a great job you done we love you jumbo akunamatata. Zuri spa
