Amberton Cozy Hotel Kaunas

Nice location, excellent breakfast. But. The hotel has full digital self check in and check out. First of all, it’s unsettling. Since I’m not stupid, I understand the hotel management’s motivation for this, but it’s still off-putting. Second, something like this needs to be communicated clearly and early on during the booking process. Third, it creates a sense of unease when no one is there—just cameras, which are probably everywhere. In the morning, anonymous cleaning staff scurry through the hallways. The first face you see at the hotel is the lady at breakfast, but by then it’s already too late. Half the blame lies with the hotel, and the other half with "trip.com", because booking platforms of this kind create an environment that fosters such developments.

Really fancy hotel and a good value for the budget. Located right near the lake and castle which is scenic.

Easy self check in and great location, very comfortable beds

It’s a very good hotel! The only improvement I suggest is the breakfast… no variety and not many options

good with kids

Great experience! Easy check in… very straightforward! Room and toilet very clean. Great location, close to old town, walking distance to center. Recommended.

Good place

The location is perfect, right by the old town square and main attractions but the carpet is heavily stained by bleach and dirt. As I arrived at the room, I found an open Champagne bottle from whoever had been staying the night before and the housekeepers forgot to take. That was very disappointing for the price. Breakfast selection was really poor and did not look fresh. I would not recommend this hotel.

Well situated in old town. Nice rooms.
