Brookfield B&B Guest House

One of the friendliness places we've stayed at. We was greated by Simon. And on entering our room there was a birthday cake/card and a box of chocolates.There was also wine .lovely thoughtful touch . Breakfast was amazingly cooked by Lorna. And we also found out that Simon was from our neck of the woods . So had loads to talk about over Breakfast.. the b+b is only 20min lovely walk into town. And there is street parking just across the road. We will be back..

Amazing B&B Great host , couldn’t do enough for us, great spacious family room, breakfast was delicious, loved all the little extras, wine in room, hot chocolate and biscuits etc. Even our dog got a sausage for breakfast every morning. Great location it’s a lovely 20 minute walk into Keswick town .

Fantastic welcome, great breakfast and lots of thoughtful extras in our room. The host was very friendly, and took the time to remember our names which made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble and to top it off, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Two great nights in walking distance to the centre of Keswick.

Once again another fantastic stay at Brookfield Simon n Lorna attentive n helpful as ever stayed in room two this time around ! It has a double bed single bed and sofa situated in the bay window . The room is so spacious , immaculate and stocked up with all your hot drinks biscuits sweets and the usual complimentary two bottles of wine 👌! A flexible couple that allow you to bring takeaways back to the room if need be as the popular Keswick center restaurants are busy ! It’s our last night of a romantic weekend stay so the last bonus will be the hearty full English breakfast provided absolutely beautiful goes without saying we will be back for a third visit soon

A delayed but very necessary review. We stayed for 3 nights in May for a dog friendly stay in the lakes, having visited Keswick before. Simon and Lorna were PERFECT hosts, very attentive to needs of their guests and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. After sharing that it was my girlfriends birthday surprise, we were overwhelmed by their efforts which included a yummy victoria sponge cake, prosecco, choccies and flowers in the room with a birthday banner. The room was a perfect size to accommodate our little puppy Douglas, and the location was perfect with many surrounding trails and 15 minutes from the centre of Keswick. I can't thank Lorna and Simon enough for our stay, and apologies it has taken us this long to leave a review :) Look forward to coming back in the future!

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at Brookfield Guest House,we were welcomed at the front door by lorna who was the perfect host and made us feel at home straight away. Our room was a double room on the second floor which we found lovely and cosy and well stocked with coffee tea hot chocolate etc and biscuits and the 2 small bottles of wine where a lovely touch. The breakfast for me was the standout feature obviously local produce cooked to perfection and full of flavour try the full English if you go I'll wager you'll struggle to finish it but it sets you up if your planning a day on the fells. So thank you lorna we hope to return to Keswick in the spring and we will definitely try coming to you 😊

Wonderful friendly hosts. Simon couldn't do anything more for you. A great choice of items in your room and in the bathroom. Really comfy bed and spacious room (we had a family room as brought our pooch with us) Breakfast was fantastic too. Well cooked, great quality and again, fantastic choice of food. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

Lorna gave us a warm welcome and was the perfect host during our stay. I was visiting the Lakes with my dad for a walking trip in the hills and Lakes. Our room was nice and food great, best bacon sandwich this year! Brookfield was a great base for our trip away in the beautiful Lakes. Thanks Lorna

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable- just what we needed after long days of walking. Our hosts were the best: they made us feel welcome, provided us with local information and, when they find out that I am a vegan, they supplied vegan goodies in the room. In addition, they very kindly posted my glasses back to me after I left them in our room. The breakfast spread was one of the biggest that I have ever seen- very impressive and everything looked delicious! We were absolutely delighted with our stay and would highly recommend a stay here to visitors in the Lake District.
