"Hotel is efficient and great value. I didn’t know full housekeeping is only every 3 days which is fine. They do change towels and empty bins but you need to make your own bed and clean your cups and dishes. Pros- Good location. Cat yellow bus stop just a few mins walk from hotel. Spacious and clean rooms Nespresso machine and capsules are provided Surrounding area is gorgeous and peaceful Cons. Noisy especially on weekends as Hotel is a mixed development where restaurants, cafe and bars are on the ground floor so rooms on the 3rd floor are noisy at night until late. Bathroom floor is always wet. I suspect a leak somewhere in the room. Do not expect any service except one staff handling check in."

"At first, it look very old but after sometime, I can feel very relaxed and good atmosphere here. I can sleep very comfortably even I have to do a bit of hike/jump to my upper bunkbed. The mattress is very good quality and it can make me sleep comfortably, that's the most important. Also, the location is the best in the heart of Perth CBD and next to Chinatown, many yummy foods there. Bathrooms are plenty and very clean. Their staff customer service skill is second to none. Very happy staying here for three nights yeven if I have to do a bit of hike/jump to reach my comfy bed mattress (Other three upper bunkbed in the room are good, its have the ladder screwed properly, just my upper bunkbed. It's good exercises)."

"This hotel is located near the Elizabeth Quay within walking distance and the walk along the lake is amazing. The view of the hotel room is breathtaking especially during sunset and sunrise. Yes. You can see both! Service from the team is excellent and I cannot ask for more. The gym is equipped with good equipment and the conveniences of IGA supermarket being part of the complex helped us to get anything we missed. Highly recommended."

"The environment here is fantastic, right in the city center. It's so convenient to get to the pedestrian street and the main roads, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. The hotel room itself is fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, pots, pans, an induction cooker, a fridge, and a microwave – everything you could possibly need for a holiday. It was great being able to buy groceries from the big supermarket and cook our own meals in the room."

"We didn't notice when we checked in just after lunch hour. It's when we returned in the early evening and wanted to shower that we realised the whole shower head (including a short thin piping) was missing! Probably the earlier guest dismantled and took it upon checking out. The front desk promptly offered an alternative room which was a family suite (an upgrade). The first was shabby with a mild stench. The subsequent replacement was acceptable. It had two bedrooms (no a/c). We used only one as it's only two of us. Came with kitchenette, crockery, microwave oven. Housekeeping - the chambermaids asked what were required and did not do the usual complete make of the room. Is this a standard in Perth? Overall, not a bad stay (from price point) if one is not very particular. Btw, the washer and the dryer in the laundry room at our level were good. Totally dried our clothes. $4 each wash and per drying."

"The room was quite spacious, with an en-suite bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. It's also conveniently located close to the train station and the commercial center. However, I found it strange that the beds didn't have privacy curtains. The quad room had two single beds and one bunk bed."

"Mountway Hotel Apartment: A Budget Gem for Asian Travelers in Perth I recently stayed at Mountway Hotel Apartment in Perth, and I must say it’s one of the best options in its price range, especially for Asian travelers looking for a long-term stay with self-catering facilities. Location: The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It’s just 1.1 km from the central train station, and you can hop on free bus services like the Red CAT, Blue CAT, or Green CAT, with stops only 100m to 250m away—perfect for easy commuting. Behind the hotel lies the stunning Kings Park and Botanic Garden. If you don’t feel like walking the 300m to get there, the Blue CAT will drop you off effortlessly. The accessibility to public transport and nearby attractions is a huge plus. Cleanliness: While the exterior might look a bit dated, the interior is surprisingly spotless. I booked a room for two, but the bedding and pillows provided were enough for four, which was a nice touch. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the cleanliness. Facilities: The private kitchen was a highlight—equipped with a rice cooker, pots, pans, a toaster, a fridge, and enough cutlery, plates, and utensils for four people. They even provide coffee, which I appreciated. However, there are a few downsides: the electric stove is small and outdated, making cooking a bit slow. Also, there’s no salt or basic seasonings provided, nor chopsticks, which might inconvenience Asian guests. The bathroom features a very clean bathtub, but it lacks shampoo and body wash, so you’ll need to bring your own. Despite these minor drawbacks, I’d still rate Mountway Hotel Apartment as the best value for money in its category. It’s practical, comfortable, and ideal for Asian travelers who want to stay longer and cook meals to suit their tastes. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a home-away-from-home experience in Perth!"

"The host was incredibly kind and quick to respond to all my questions and requests. The accommodation itself was very cozy and comfortable. Having Cole Mart, cafes, and restaurants all nearby was super convenient. But the biggest highlight was being able to walk to the beach in under 3 minutes from the accommodation. It was perfect for staying with my 4-year-old child."
