"This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience. As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time. These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay."

"This time I stayed at this Xilin Courtyard Hotel and was warmed up! Because of the itinerary, I haven't arrived at the store very late. The hotel called in advance to ask and told me that the room was reserved for me, so I don't worry! (In fact, I am very worried, afraid that there is no room, because it is New Year's Day, there are many people) until the early morning of the next day to reach Longyan! The clothes are less, the tired, cold do not want to talk, fortunately the check-in process is very fast, the room is instantly warm, the original front desk does not know when, has already turned on the air conditioner early! The bed is also very soft, the supplies are very comfortable, the room is quite big! There is a big garden outside, very beautiful, very quiet! The front desk also specially told me that I can check out late and make me feel at ease! Must give five-star praise! 👍👍👍👍👍"

"Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city."

"Enjoyed our 3 nights stay in this family run hotel just next to the Tulou. Had a nice river/mountain facing well equipped room with projector TV, wireless charging side table and v.comfy beds. Boss and his 2 nephews were most hospitable and offered their utmost assistance to us. . Everyone were super friendly and sociable. Hakka food is pretty good at the hotel and they do BBQs during the summer months outside at their patio , great to chill & socialise with the locals over a drink or 2 . They even had fireworks. Highly recommend to take the hotel package inclusive of the tulou night show plus a hotel set dinner."

The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent, and the hotel offered great value for money within the scenic area. For dining, there are local specialties available downstairs from the hotel. There's also a KFC across the street."

"The experience of this newly opened hotel is great! The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were brand new and smell-free, and the bedding was comfortable and slept well. The room has good lighting, the hygiene is particularly in place, the toiletries and appliances are new, there is no smell, and you can live in peace of mind. The front desk is friendly, the check-in and check-out efficiency is high, the demand response is timely, and the service is very intimate. Sound insulation is good, quiet at night is not noisy. The new hotel is very cost-effective, recommended to stay, it is worth coming again"
