"I've been researching Tulou for a long time, and according to information provided by netizens, there are more than 10 kilometers of roads in Nanjing where you need to flag down a car in advance. In order to avoid joining a tour group and being disturbed, I found the best option: Yongding Tulou. I chose Huazhu, the hotel that I'm reluctant to leave. The owner personally picks up guests (you can drive in at 8:30 pm). I especially want to mention that the owner's wife's free-range chicken is incredibly delicious and unforgettable!"

"The location is convenient, and the hotel has a great design aesthetic. They offer a free shuttle service to the train station, and the driver was really nice. The popular beef offal noodle shop next door is delicious and affordable. Just a small heads-up: the water pressure in the shower is really strong; I'd suggest either changing the showerhead or adjusting the pressure."
