"The location is excellent! It's just a few bus stops from the train station, or a short taxi ride away, and it's not far from the city center. As soon as you enter, you can feel the backpacker vibe. The first floor is a common area with a lounge for relaxing on sofas and watching TV, and an entertainment area with a pool table. After checking in, the staff gives you sheets, slippers, and even a bottle of water (so thoughtful!). I was amazed when I entered the room – it's the largest hostel room I've ever stayed in, with a private bathroom and lockers for your belongings. On the third floor, you can hang clothes and even sit on the balcony to enjoy the breeze. I have to mention the group tours; the hostel organizes daily trips to Sayram Lake and Kuerdening Grassland. Their tour leaders are incredibly well-rounded (they know all the best places to eat, play, take photos, fly drones, drive, play instruments, and provide emotional support). Yining is a place you'll want to visit again, and Backpacker's Decade is definitely the place to stay when you're there. For backpackers, it's the absolute best choice for a trip to Yining!"

"The wind chime jingled as I pushed open the door. The front desk attendant looked up, smiled, and said, ”You're here.” It was as if she knew I was coming and had been waiting for me for a long time. Soft music played in the lobby. Someone was reading by the window, another person was napping with the sunlight warming their back. **Cleanliness:** The bedsheets smelled of laundry detergent, not that stuffy disinfectant smell. The corners were swept impeccably clean, and there were no water stains in the bathroom. I'm a bit of a clean freak, but I slept soundly here. When I came back at night, the auntie had already mopped the common areas again, the floor still slightly glistening. **Location:** It's in Liuxing Street, so Apple Alley is just a short walk away. To the left, there's Grandpa's baked buns, to the right, Grandma's ice cream, and across the street, Uncle's拌面 (mixed noodles) – all just a few steps away. In the evening, I took a stroll to the Alexander Accordion Museum, and on the way back, I bought two freshly baked, still-warm breads from the bakery. If I wanted coffee, it was convenient too, just around the corner. **Service:** The front desk attendant poured me a hot tea and said, ”Take a rest first.” Knowing I was traveling alone, she even asked if I wanted to join them for a trip to the surroundings tomorrow. In the evening, a few guys were sharing a meal in the courtyard and invited me to eat with them, without even asking if I'd pay. This kind of natural warmth really touched my heart. **Facilities:** The bed was large, and with the curtain pulled, it became my own little world. Each bed had an outlet and a lamp, so no fighting over them. The hot water was plentiful and had good pressure. The restaurant had a microwave and a water dispenser, so hot water was always available – so important for our Chinese stomachs! As for the atmosphere, everyone sat in the courtyard in the evening. Someone played the guitar, someone drank Wusu beer, and someone who had just returned from Mount Kailash shared stories of the snow and stars on the mountain. I just listened nearby, feeling that this was probably the meaning of travel – meeting people, hearing stories, and then continuing on your own path. As I left, the wind chime jingled again. The front desk attendant was busy, but still looked up and said, ”Travel safely.” As if she knew I'd be back."

"This hotel is brand new, having just opened this month. Each room comes with its own washing machine and refrigerator, and all the appliances are new. There's also a smart assistant ('XiaoDu') to control the lights and curtains, and the TV even still has the protective film on it. The room is very spacious, genuinely matching the advertised square footage, and has excellent natural light with two large windows. The owner is very kind and enthusiastic, and even offered to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse's location is super convenient, very close to Liuxing Street, so you can easily take a leisurely stroll there, saving on taxi fare."

"This is an older hotel in Yili, much like the Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai. The garden setting is lovely, but the downside is that the facilities are quite outdated. I arrived late at night after being caught in the rain, and found out the water heater takes about 30 minutes to heat up. I booked a loft room, and the electricity meter upstairs was old and made a loud buzzing noise. After reporting it, two service staff members and a maintenance worker arrived immediately to deal with it – the service was incredibly prompt. Although they couldn't fix it, they offered two additional rooms as compensation. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and comfortable. For an older hotel, the service is definitely on point."

"We chose this hotel for its location inside the Liuxing Street Scenic Area, and the location was indeed perfect. For a property that advertises itself as 2 stars the accommodation is impressive. The rooms are big, the ceiling is high, the bed is comfortable and the floor heating is warm. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this property for its simple but direct service, good ambiance and fantastic location. The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit on the low side. Apart from that everything was great. Highly recommend"

"My stay coincided with snowfall in Yining, and the white guesthouse buildings against the backdrop of falling snow created an incredibly atmospheric ambiance! I thought it would be cold with the snow, but the room was so warm I had to turn on the air conditioning 🤣🤣 The room was fully equipped with smart devices, and it was exceptionally quiet both day and night—very pleasant. PS: The owner was warm and considerate! They responded to any requests instantly. The environment was clean, tidy, and stylishly designed. It was a truly therapeutic stay; I'll definitely come back to stay in Yili, Xinjiang when I have the chance!"

"The suite we booked was on one floor, with three bedrooms and a very large living room, which was perfect for family trips. The owner was warm and friendly. We inquired in advance about parking before we drove, and he helped us reserve a parking space. He even picked us up from the intersection late at night and brought us local ice cream. "The most pleasant homestay to stay in Yining this time! The location is really amazing. It is only a few minutes walk from Kazanqi. It is only a few hundred meters to the Hanren Street Food Court. It is super convenient to go shopping at night and eat. There is also a large free parking lot at the door, so it is too worry-free to drive by yourself. The homestay itself is like a small fairy tale world hidden in the city, with iconic blue and yellow wooden houses, carved pillars in the corridors, and colorful ethnic styles on the walls. The courtyard is specially furnished with atmosphere, lawns, umbrellas, and sitting here to eat and chat when the weather is good, so comfortable that I don't want to leave. Key to boast breakfast! The variety is rich and nutritious, the freshly made buns, fried eggs, hand-caught rice, and Xinjiang special drinks and fruits, even bread and side dishes are arranged clearly, eating in the morning, and visiting Kazan all day is super energetic. The boss and service are also very intimate. Living here is completely taken care of. I will choose this one next time I come to Yining!"

There is no dust on the table and window sill, and even the bottom of the chair is refreshing. You don't have to clean up yourself when you live in, you can just rest on the bed. The furniture is scattered, the space is bright and warm, and it feels like returning to your carefully arranged small home. The sense of security and comfort is full! If you can stay here for a few more days, accompanied by the green and quiet outside the window, you can definitely sleep well, super suitable for people who want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a pleasant holiday!"
