Low ceilings, pillows about as thick as an iPad, and a mattress that feels more like a traditional futon than a hotel bed. Staff are polite and efficient, the small onsen is lovely after a day out, and the location couldn’t be better. Skipped breakfast after seeing the 20-minute wait — I’d skip the meal plan next time. Comfortable enough for a short stay, just don’t expect cloud-like bedding.

We stopped at the southern town of Kochi during our Shikoku cycling challenging around the island. It was a long day after 130km from Shishiku but finally arrived at the Dormy Inn at around 3:30pm. Location wise it’s excellent as it is at the heart of the shopping district with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is bike friendly allowing us to take the bike into our room. Amenities is excellent and room is clean although a tad smaller than expected. In general I am happy with our decision staying at the Dormy Inn of Kochi.

The hotel and Ctrip have different information about room cleaning. The hotel does not provide free cleaning, but Ctrip says it provides daily cleaning. After communicating with the hotel, they added free cleaning for the next few days. I hope the platform can correct the mark later. The hotel has complete facilities, free laundry, clean bathhouse, free popsicles and soy sauce noodles for supper, and nice rooms. It is very close to Hiroto Market. You will pass by a large area of *** when you return from the station, so you need to pay attention to safety when you return to the hotel at night. It costs 720 yen to take a taxi from the station to the hotel

Dormy Inn Kochi is close to Hirome Market, surrounded by delicious restaurants even at night, the location is great, and the baths are amazing!

The location is excellent, with lots of food and shopping nearby; 5 minutes walk to Hiroto Market, a very popular market also known as the "food kitchen". This local night market is bustling from dusk to night, and the local atmosphere is invincible. I have stayed in Hokkaido and felt good, so I chose this brand hotel in Kochi this time. The waiter was very friendly. We asked the hotel to help with nearby beef delicacies, and she handled it immediately. Thank her very much; the hot spring is very comfortable, and there are free ramen, popsicles and Yakult after soaking in the hot spring; the breakfast is very rich, except for the normal small space of the room, everything is satisfactory👍

The location is excellent. It is close to the station and the business district. There are many delicious restaurants around. Kochi Castle and Kochi Museum are within walking distance. The hot spring also has two pools, which are very comfortable. The breakfast is also great. Very Japanese. It is worth recommending
