Area is quiet and a little remote but gives peace of mind. Service is excellent and the rooms are nice. Didnt use any of the facilities so cant give any feedback.

My stay at Novotel was made exceptional by the outstanding service provided by the staff. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, always available to answer questions and provide assistance with a smile. The bellboy, in particular, went above and beyond with his care and attention to detail. He was always ready to lend a hand, making my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. It was truly the kindness and dedication of the staff that elevated my experience. Very nice and convenient hotel for traveller who about to stay-over before using High speed railway from KM to other province via Kunming railway station. Close to South Ring Rd. Exit D with elevator. Staff very polite and helpfully. Big room , large bathroom , air conditioning system looks old but circulating air in the room is great. Recommend !!

This hotel--Mengjing Wangyue Courtyard Hotel (Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Jinma Bijifang Branch)--is situated among charming Chinese heritage sites, with traditional Chinese-style buildings surrounding it, including statues at the entrance that add to its cultural appeal. Although the reception advertises English-speaking staff, only the female manager (based on my observation) is quite fluent; other staff members have limited English skills but are friendly and polite. The breakfast offers a good variety and is delicious, and the room facilities are decent and satisfactory. However, travellers from Southeast Asia should note that bidets are not provided. Overall, this cultural hotel is a 10/10—definitely worth a visit, especially for its fantastic location. Any minor drawbacks are easily outweighed by the excellent service and quality offered.

Really lovely stay with great value! Pros: - Really convenient location that is near Kunming station (10mins taxi) and alot of food options nearby - Near Nanqiang street which is really nice to walk around, with street food and many cute shops - Very good service. The staff even helped me to carry my luggages to our DiDi taxi upon check out! - Clean and spacious room, lots of space to open luggage! 2 sinks for toilet which is awesome. Breakfast portion is HUGE and quite nice. But maybe cause I am used to lighter breakfast. - There is afternoon snack & night time dessert too - Relatively quiet at night as its not too near the roads Cons: - Nothing bad really

Room - spacious, shower pressure and temperature is good. Thou temperature might take 2-3 secs to warm up (the weather is cold when i’m staying here), it won’t drop once desired temperature is fixed. I had pass by other rooms on the way to the elevator, and had peeped into other rooms when the cleaner were cleaning them. Noticed that all the rooms i saw, are spacious too. Breakfast is good too, thou most likely most hotels will be serving around the same stuff Location- Best!!! Kunming old street, nanping pedestrian street is literally across the road. Just be careful not to get lost inside there, cause it can be confusing once you are in the area. Do take note when taking taxi, didi, they can’t stop directly in front of the hotel cause it is the main road, and just after a traffic light. So u have to walk around 30sec to the next intersection. It’s basically once you step out of the main entrance of the hotel, turn right and walk to the next road. If you are joining a tour and they picking you up, most likely it’s that intersection too. Will definitely stay here again if i’m visiting Kunming again.

The service is the best, I thought I lost my key card, After they done the verification, they just gave me another key. Fortunately I just forgot to bring my key card. The location is the best near the metro and famous tourist spot. However even though it is non smoking room, the cigarette smell can still pass through the toilet ventilation.

Very good hotel with free upgrade from the front staff. The room service is very good with bathtube & fruits served in room. the morning buffet also very veritey of choices.

Value for money, modern 4-star hotel located in center location and near to metro station, it is just opposite MIXC Mall which is an upper class shopping mall. The room is comfortable and breakfast is wide variety and delicious. The hotel is also very child-friendly, they provided child's pillow, toothbrush, slipper and toys. The hotel staffs are helpful and provided great services to make our stay comfortable. There is also free tea-testing at the hotel lobby where the lady tea shop owner is friendly and served good tea. Will stay in this hotel again if go back to Kunming next time.

The staff are very accommodating. Our flight at 1:00am but check in was at 14:00 and we were very late. The staff were really friendly and efficient with the checking in process. The 2 receptionist spoke English. The room is spacious with great amenities and Dyson hair dryer. Water and rose moon cakes were provided on upon our welcome. The AC is great, the shower water pressure is amazing. The bed is comfy and the pillows are to great. The breakfast is good and the best part is that it’s open from 7:30am -12midday. I couldn’t believe it myself! The food is good with a range of rice porridge, fresh fruit, noodles, boiled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, youtiao (dough stick bread), vegetables, cereal and a range of desserts. They have a selection of coffee, tea and juices. There’s also a self service laundry area and open roof top area with a pool.
