Hangting Hotel Hotels in Kunming

We love this hotel! It's close to the metro station (Wu Yi Road) and Nanping Pedestrian Street. The check in staff is nice and helpful. The room is big enough for two of us with two pieces of medium luggage. Breakfast is delicious and filling too. We will definitely stay here again!

During my trip to Kunming, I chose the Hanting Hotel Cuihu Panjiawan Subway Station, which was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is perfectly located, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it convenient and easy to reach various attractions. There's also a wealth of nearby restaurants, from authentic Yunnan cuisine to fast food options to satisfy every taste bud. The lobby was clean and bright. The front desk lady was friendly and attentive, checking me in quickly and providing helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, the bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were high-quality. The soundproofing was excellent, and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel also offers 24-hour laundry and free parking. The breakfast is rich and varied, including local rice noodles, making it a great start to the day. This stay was a perfect experience and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

Pros - Full marks for the front desk service staff especially the male front desk employee. All of them are so helpful and courteous. WiFi is fast. Hot shower pressure is strong. Room is clean and there is no smoking stench. The luggage rack is very useful. You can trust Hanting standard. Cleaning staff are also courteous and accommodating to my requests. Cons - No towel hook in the bathroom to hang bath towels (please consider installing one). Difficult to find the hotel entrance at first (see my last picture for direction). Rooms facing the pedestrian street may get some noise from the morning business vendors (ask for rooms facing the other buildings if that bothers you).

I checked in at 13:00 and the room had not been cleaned during the holiday. The children suddenly became happy and energetic! After checking in, the toilet in the room is relatively smart. Children and elders are not very good at using it. They accidentally closed the water valve. The staff patiently explained and came to the room to solve the problem. After the five-day trip, I was in a hurry every day. I thought the pace could be slower on the last day. I asked about the check-out time and was told that it was 12:00. Tan Hao saw my hesitation and asked me if I needed to delay my arrival. Check out at 14:00, he can help me apply. Everyone can understand my surprise! What moved me the most was that after I finished washing the children’s clothes, I planned to go downstairs and put the clothes in the dryer, but I found that the staff had already put the clothes in the dryer! This hotel was chosen for both landing in Kunming and returning. There is basically nothing wrong with it. The only drawback is that the room is a little small, but it is OK for 2 people.
