There are surprisingly many local okonomiyaki restaurants, cafes, and izakaya restaurants within walking distance! Please try walking a lot.

I'm a third-year university student who lives in Shibuya, and I'm also a radio personality in Shibuya. On my first solo trip to Dialogue Village, I was able to get used to it on the first night and felt nostalgic, like visiting my grandma's house. I want to stay here forever listening to the sound of the sea, as the sea is said to be the second most transparent after Okinawa, and the scenery is nice, but the most appealing thing about this place is the people. It was a warm city where people were there to help visitors, and time seemed to slow down. At Dialogue Village, I thought the cooperation of the residents was amazing. The neighborhood supermarket is a refrigerator, the hospital is a health room, the cafeteria is an okonomiyaki restaurant, and all are connected by alleys, and this is called a dialogue village. You won't be able to get the feeling of living there if you stay for 1 night and 2 days, so I think it's better to stay for consecutive nights! It's an old private house, so it's not very convenient, but it had enough of the basic necessities to live. Thankfully, the WiFi is fast and the supermarket is only 3 minutes away. Above all, the people who live there are warm. In particular, I was really impressed by Acchan's desire to entertain the people who came to see her. It is housed in an old folk house from about 100 years ago, so it is recommended for people who enjoy the inconvenience. Also, it is worth staying at Dialogue Village at least once in your life because it is a place where people who want to balance work and play gather.

It was an inn where you could forget about time, interact with people, and experience Kurahashi Island. After checking in at an old folk house built about 100 years ago, I grinned as I picked up a book that touched my senses in the library. You can also relax and read a book on the sunny porch. The staff will introduce you to various things you would like to do or see if you had any requests. At the recommendation of the staff, I went to a hot spring after climbing the mountain, relaxed at a cafe, and bought some very delicious local sake. I've been curious about it ever since I drank it at this guesthouse, so I'm glad I was able to buy it. Day by day, I find myself wanting to see more and do more, so one night is definitely not enough. At the end of a day filled with such experiences, we took a short break at an overnight house (laundry boat) located a little far from the old folk house. It's a calm home that makes you feel like you've come back home. The slope is a bit steep...but the view of the Seto Inland Sea and Ondo Ohashi Bridge from that slope in the morning was amazing. I forgot how tough it was. I thought a guest house was just a cheap place to sleep in crammed rooms, but I was wrong. It was certainly a good trip, but here you can interact with other guests, staff, and the shops you visit in a comfortable distance, so you can enjoy it at your own pace without straining yourself. Thanks to that, there are more things I want to try one after another, and one night is no longer enough...lol I want to come back again.

もともと旅好きで各地を旅行してきましたが、今回旅として初の試みで1か月というロング滞在をさせていただきました。 普段都会や旅先で忙しなく過ごす私ですが、観光地ではない穏やかな土地で「暮らすように旅」して、心にゆとりを持ち自分のことや将来のことを考える時間がほしかったためです。 大学生活がちょうど折り返しの時期で将来について考えることが多かったですが、他のゲストさんやスタッフの方々と、このゲストハウスで大事にされている「対話」を繰り返し、よく遊びよく寝て、様々な素敵な発想が浮かび上がってきました。 勇気を出して1か月滞在してみてほんとによかったと思います。濃すぎる1か月で時間が一瞬で過ぎてしまいましたが、考えがまとまり、成長できました。 数日間の滞在ももちろん素敵な旅になりますが、自分自身のことにしっかり向き合いたい方や、静かな空間で芸術活動をしてみたい方のロング滞在はとてもおすすめです！

こちらのゲストハウスはよく歩くことをテーマにされており、歩いて回りたくなる仕掛けがたくさん用意されています。 周辺には海を眺めてボーッとできる素敵なカフェもたくさんあり、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができました。 バスで30分くらい行くと、火山(ひやま)登山ができます。 山から見る海の景色が1番思い出に残っています。 是非みなさんにも体験してほしいです！ またダイアログという対話を大切にしているところなので、他のゲストさんとの交流も面白かったです！

もっともっと、居たくなる場所 畳の上で足を崩して人と話す事がたいへん自然な営みに思いました 今回はこの宿で人と話すことの楽しさ、安らかさに夢中でしたが、今度は縁側でゆっくり本を読むこともしたいなと思います。 そう、この宿は蔵書もたいへん面白いですから、人と本どちらともしっかりゆっくり対話をしたいと思うと一泊ではとても足りなく感じてしまいますね。 よく読んで、よく話して、よく歩いて、よく眠ることができました。
