Room.. Our suite was a very good size, separate bedroom with dressing table, 3 wardrobes, window seat and plenty of floor space. Lounge area with Sofa bed, 2 chairs, fridge, and Air con unit. The shower was powerful. There was no view from our balcony except trees. However, this really didn't bother us as hardly in the room. Cleaners. The room could have been cleaned to a higher standard. However, what was done was acceptable, and it certainly wasn't dirty. The corridors appear to have lacked regular hoovering, as there was a cigarette butt and bottle top down from our room for 4 days. Communal areas again could have had a higher standard of cleaning. Cats. The hotel appears to have quite a few cats. They can be found in the hotel corridors in the gym ( we opened the door to let one out), chilling on the sunloungers, especially ones with towels on and in the restaurant, sitting by the tables and even up on the chairs. So many people were feeding them, and the staff did nothing to stop this. We were constantly shooing them away. Due to the heat, there are certain areas where you can pick up on the odour of cat urine. Smokers. As it is Turkey, there are no designated smoking areas within the grounds or hotel, as only 1 area of the restaurant is completely enclosed with a minimal amount of tables, if you do not like smoke then be prepared to be bothered by it, especially when eating. Resturant. Although marketed as having 2 and a patteserie, this is incorrect. They no longer own the main one on top of the building with the views of the marina and port. It is now privately owned. What used to be the patteserie is now where they present the buffet at meal times, and the seating area is now all on this lower level. As it is mainly couples at the hotel, I would have expected all the tables to be for 2 people and then pushed together if a larger one is required. However, this is not the case and at certain times you had to wait for a table, unless you wished to encroach on others and sit on a table of 4. Food. Nothing really exciting to write about this, it wasn't rubbish but certainly was exciting. Hot food was always labelled. However, cold dishes lacked this, so you had to guess and hope for the best. We ended up eating out 3 times during our 12 nights, just to make the other nights bearable. Staff. The majority of them managed to smile and work. Pool Bar. Very lack lustre and not always open. They could utilise this facility so much more. Pool. Once the sun was on it, the temperature was just fine. There definitely are not enough sunbeds for everyone, so I guess it was lucky some people preferred to visit the beach. There was no Pool towel exchange, we were advised to leave it in our room and the cleaner would then change, only works if you have another towel of your own to take down and cover the pretty grotty sunbed, unfortunately our cleaner didn't always replace. Location Perfectly located just at the end of the main street
