A good hotel, but not a 5-star hotel.
Cons:
- Rooms are fairly basic (cheap slippers, few towels, no amenities other than toothpaste);
- Housekeeping was okay, but the bed was rumpled afterward;
- I initially wanted to point out the bed as a plus, but during the night I started sliding out of bed and discovered it was just two mattresses with a topper, even though all other things being equal, the bed was comfortable;
- Breakfasts are meager (mostly pasta, stewed vegetables, sausages, and two types of scrambled eggs; no fruit, cereal, or juice).
- Cheap, broken furniture (the shelf under the TV was practically falling off, the luggage rack had chipped sections of chipboard near the screws);
- Some mold in the bathroom, and lots of finish defects and cracks.
- The Wi-Fi was slow, and there was no internet connection from about 3 AM until 6-7 AM (making it impossible to work remotely).
Pros:
- The view from the room onto the courtyard and garden was pleasant, although when I opened the window in the evening, insects flew in and I could hear the party downstairs.
- The service was okay, the staff at the front desk were polite and pleasant. A light bulb in the room didn't work upon check-in, but they replaced it upon request.
It's a great three-star hotel, but I can't expect much more. I didn't check out the pool, spa, or gym, so I can't comment on that.
