The location felt safe and was nice to be close to the highway 405. The room was nicely updated clean, with a new shower and halo mirror.
The down side was the spa, which did not turn on at times, and the thin, small pool towels that were only offered at the front desk, if you walked down there in the very cold hallway. (I was in my swimsuit with a light coverup, expecting to find the towels at the spa). I had to sign an agreement to not take any towels etc with me and was concerned that I would be charged for the awful towels that they did have!
Free breakfast: coffee, hot water, & juice. There was instant scrambled eggs, pork bacon, bread, grocery store muffins, bagels and "make it yourself" waffles & some type of corn syrup. The fruit: apples and oranges. Since there was no tea or lemon I had orange in my water and a muffin. I threw the muffin away (not very good). So much for the free breakfast. The dinning room itself was very pretty and the seating comfortable. "Plan B"Took my daughter and went to 85 Degrees for breakfast, which turned out to be lovely. Had a wonderful green tea with oat milk and apple flaky puff pastry. The hotel should maybe consider changing/updating their menu.
