TTyranAirbnb at hotel prices. Apartment complex mixed with permanent residents. A/C in the bedrooms only. No insect screens on any of the doors or windows. Internet was constantly dropping out until it didn’t work at all. Called reception & was instructed to call the internet service provider myself and log a job, earliest appointment day before I checking out. View was obstructed with large & noisy earthmoving equipment whom were completely reconstructing the rock wall ocean front directly in front of the hotel/airbnb. Dated building with corrosion evident everywhere. Cheap furnishings and appliances, fridge door would not shut properly and a dishwasher was was faulty. Would not consider again.

KKoviolgaIt was unexpectedly better that I anticipated. Very clean room, close to everything. We stayed at the studio and it had everything we needed. Very clean room even had daily service. It had a walk in wardrobe, good bed, some dining equipment and we had a direct entrance to the pool from our little patio. I saw the waterfront appartments and want to stay there next time when in Caloundra. This is found to be me place to stay on the Sunshine Coast. Thank you for raising the bar and providing with a little extra service at the affordable price point it’s really nice to have in Queensland these days.

We were surprised to find no front desk but just calling/messaging the number at the front post box was able to get us to someone at their end to start the check in process. The check in process was smooth and easy. The amenities in the room was great and the room itself was spacious. There was even a nice coffee machine and pantry area in the wardrobe. There was no free Netflix account as advertised in the room details but there were other TV channels to watch as well. It was still a great stay overall and we would recommend the place.

GGuest UserCheck-in was very smooth, the balcony view was beautiful, the two rooms did not disturb each other, and the living and dining room was very convenient for friends to gather. There are Japanese and Italian restaurants opposite the hotel, and a Chinese restaurant next to it. Highly recommended

TTheobaldThis is a fabulous place to stay. We chose a studio room, with ocean view, and it was really worth it. Although we arrived late, we contacted call staff at the door and they talked us through the check in process. Service was kind and responsive throughout. The only small downside was that the rooms are only serviced once each 8 days. However, when we requested fresh towels they were happy to provide them. The pool complex is lovely - the pool is a little cold for winter, but the spa was comfortable and we really enjoyed the sauna. Breakfast was included, and we had the choice of three cafes in the complex, with delicious food at all three.
We can't wait to return!

LLast TouristBeautiful setting. Kanawa Bay is idyllic. It's modern and well planned. The hotel is surrounded by water & beautiful walls. The hotel has free parking and a cozy cafe which doubles up as the breakfast area and general dining area- it has limited seating capacity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable & quiet. There's even a filter water cooler on every floor that dispensers clean cool water. The rooms only lack night lights. Breakfasts are cooked well & very tasty. There are plenty of local eateries in the surroundings around the hotel that are well worth checking out. Coles and Aldi are located within walking distance at the Stockland Birtinya shopping center.

GGilly76Lovely location. Close to alot of necessities most notably a hospital and a shopping centre all within walking distance. Has a beautiful lake popular with fitness oriented people. Wasn't overly fond of my room as I was placed next door to a family with screaming kids. And the close proximity to each other means we can hear every little sound like the banging of doors nd chatter. That was my only gripe. Also the parkings great as we all have our own allocated spot. Would definitely come back here again but next time have my own door. And lastly the price i found was affordable for a solo traveller. 👍
