The hotel's location is decent, probably its only upside, with plenty of dining options nearby. However, the room is quite small and the bed is very low. Breakfast is served in the front desk area, with limited choices. Overall, it's not great value for money. They gave us a street-facing room, which isn't ideal if you're particular about sleep quality!

The hotel is compact, with barely enough space for luggage. It’s relatively near the train station, but food options nearby are limited — you’ll need to walk back to the station for more choices.
The room can feel cold due to centralized heating, especially during/after showering. TV has YouTube but no Netflix. No fridge, slippers, utensils, or kettle (though I try via tap or you could get hot water at ground level, and free coffee/tea is available).
Service could be better. One day I returned to a messy room — rubbish moved near the bed, and towels missing. With no phone in the room, I had to go down to reception. Staff said it was “not normal” but didn’t explain or apologize. I had to get towels myself and was told I could take out the trash if I wanted — frustrating after a long day.
You can hear noises from outside, especially doors closing. Overall, fine for a short stay, but don’t expect much in terms of space or service.

I had a fantastic stay at Ruby Mimi Hotel Zurich. The hotel’s vintage cinema-inspired design adds unique charm, and the location is perfect—just minutes from the main train station and Zurich’s old town. My room was compact but smartly designed, with a comfortable bed, quality shower, and great amenities like a Marshall speaker. The bar and lounge area was cozy and stylish, ideal for unwinding in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. I appreciated the hotel’s sustainable approach and clean, modern feel. A great value stay—I’d definitely return!

The location is very good, very close to the lake, walk for about 10 minutes. There is a yard where you can park, but you have to pay 15 Swiss francs for parking. Breakfast is relatively monotonous, bread, sliced intestines, milk, juice. We have two children, one is 5 years old, and the other is two years old. We booked a family room with a big toilet. There are two single beds and a large double sofa bed. The heating is too hot.

Hotel facilities are very good. The service is not praised. Originally, we were foreign tourists. They did not provide us with a tourist card specially provided by the local government for foreign tourists. The bus is free and the museum is special. As a result, we spent hundreds of francs more. One of their front desks is probably at the level of supervisors and quibbled that there were other tourists when you checked in yesterday. I thought you were together. We asked you if they didn't think you didn't.

Very good hotel in Zurich downtown and very close to Zurich HB which is convenient to move around when travel to Switzerland. The hotel a bit old but well maintained. Frontline staff very good and breakfast are delicious too.

Fully refurbished, modern, simple and stylish rooms spread over six floors. Each room is equipped with its own comfortable and compact bathroom with shower and toilet, free Wi-Fi and a fan in summer. Two rooms are wheelchair accessible. Varied building materials and a subtly coordinated colour scheme make the colour scheme make the hotel marta something very special. The protection of our guests and our staff is our main concern. Therefore we adhere to the safety measures in the accomodation sector (hotel) as well as to the safety measures in the catering industry (breakfast) in order to contribute to an enjoyable stay in Switzerland.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marta. The location is excellent — right in the middle of Zurich and close to everything, making it very easy to explore the city. The service was great, especially the lady who assisted us during check-in; she was very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome.
The room itself was clean and simple, though it didn’t have air conditioning. We had to slightly open the window for ventilation, which was manageable. We requested a higher floor, but I think because we also requested two single beds, we were assigned a lower floor instead. Not a big issue, but something to note.
Breakfast was very minimal in terms of options. If you have the choice, it might be better to skip the breakfast and try some of the many nearby cafes instead.
Overall, Hotel Marta is a good, no-fuss option if you want to stay in a central and convenient location in Zurich with friendly service.

GGuest Userhighly recommend this hotel, convenient to central train station, walk to main shopping street for 15 mins. the room is very stylish, a bicycle is placed inside the room, maybe u can ride with it. I didn't use it as we drove. the mini bar is free of charge and can refill when necessary. Room cleaning is upon requested.
Just a little bit noisy in the morning as it is located near the train station, but I can sleep without problem. There are around 20 carpark spaces in front of the hotel. it's very convenient for driving but space is limited, you can get the parking space for luck. and you can walk for 10 mins for another carpark if necessary.
it's my first time in Zurich and I'm glad to stay here.

The attentive staffs greeted with warm hospitality, and are always willing to assist with any requests.
The hotel's elegant decorated rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city.
This hotel places emphasis on healthy sleep, hence they have worked with a Swiss family company, Roviva for the bedding (there’s a small card information on the benefits of roviva bed provided). The room also comes with a pair of arm chairs and coffee table and amenities, including free Wi-Fi, Nespresso machine and movable flat screen TV. Lastly they have also provided an umbrella and grocery tote bag in case you need it which was very thoughtful on guests needs.
The breakfast buffet comes after booking the room (optional), offering a wide selection of fresh fruits and delicious hams, bread and yogurt options to start the day.
All in all, my family and I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

It's a convenient 10-15 minute walk from both the train station and the long-distance bus terminal, which is reasonable given the town's small size. The hotel itself is very quiet and spotlessly clean. I opted for the cheapest room, an attic room, but surprisingly, it didn't feel cramped or oppressive at all. Just a heads-up though: extending your stay might come with a price increase!

Near to Zurich HB about 10 mins walk from station. We were carrying 2 large suitcases only had 1 challenging point where we needed to carry them up a flight of stairs on the way to the hotel from the train station.

Tram is 4mins walk away ,10mins walk to supermarket and train station. And 15mins by tram to the Zurich airport .
Hotel cleanliness is an issue, very dusty floor,dirty sink,and dirty toilet bowl. I even asked twice the receptionist the guy on duty if they can clean our room and put a fresh towel but no one came to clean.Room service is not 24hrs. Air conditioning doesn’t cool the room down. No tv channels. Hotel service is below standard.

GGuest UserHotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable.
Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep.
Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered.
If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

MMarc1Really good modern hotel with spacious rooms. I recommend for the people that decide for this hotel to arrive by car, as it is a bit more remote, the valet parking takes care of the rest. Fantastic restaurant on the 4th floor, in case you don’t want to travel into the city, over all a 5/5 experience!
