Hotels near Echigo Yuzawa Train Station, Yuzawa

The best stay ever with exceptional service and super gorgeous room + private onsen. We enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink and dessert before they showed us to our room. The loft style japanese room was stunning, decorated with tasteful details. The best part was of course the onsen, we could watch snow as we enjoyed the soak. There was also a massage chair in the room haha. The breakfast that we added on was really delicious too. The hotel provides pick up service to and fro train stations nearby, make sure to check with them prior to your arrival. Something that warms our hearts is their quality service, e.g. they would warm our shoes before we head out as it was snowing outside etc. Location wise, it's very near to Gala Yuzawa station. However, I think most restaurants are closer to Echigo Yuzawa station. So we would take a short walk there every night for dinner instead.

I love this hotel very much .The Location is very good it easy to Cary your luggage from station to this hotel.Aroud hotel have many restaurants.....from the Google map you will confuse about the distance. Please use West Exit it near hotel. The view in hotel suitabe to relax.

One of the nearest accommodation to Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and shuttle via a mini bus is available. Shuttle bus goes to Echigo Yuzawa station too. It is walking distance from Gala Yuzawa. Approach any staff at the Ski Resort with the telephone number of the hotel to request for it. Stayed there for a few night for snowboarding. Breakfast selection was fabulous with two local Japanese sake available! The room is big, clean and well furnished. It even come with a great view! Onsen street which is the street lined with restaurant is 10-15mins walk away. I recommend making reservation for dinner if you do not intend to go out for dinner. Great service is one of the key reason why I would return to stay!

The place is very close to Gala Yuzawa station around 8mins walk. The place is great with attentive staff. There is an available shuttle service where you can call the hotel to fetch you. Downside is that there is no available restaurants nearby so you have to go to Echigo Yuzawa. You can avail the shuttle service. Would have been great if there’s supplementary breakfast. There’s a 300yen fee for bath.

Highly recommended! The owner is friendly and helpful, provides pick-up and drop-off service from the ski resort, and is always willing to assist. The value for money is amazing. I'll definitely come back next time! And the rooms were very comfortable!

Very satisfied with our stay at Angel Grandia Hotel. The ski-in, ski-out access made skiing extremely convenient, and moving from the ski area into the hotel never felt cold. The room was warm and comfortable at night. The staff and shuttle bus attendants were friendly and helpful, and having a FamilyMart inside the hotel was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel provides a shuttle bus from Echigo Yuzawa station therefore it is very convenient via Shinkansen from Tokyo. I do like the room design, it felt showa-era Japanese with a mix of western scifi at the same time, kinda like the film space odyssey. The receptionist was very kind and gave us discounts for ski lifts. Ski lockers were included so we could keep all our gear downstairs. There are many restaurants to choose from, best meal was the steak paella with the option to add extra meat at Edelweiss. Breakfast view from Kiyotsu restaurant was majestic, got to see the early birds ski while enjoying our meal. We were at the slopes pretty much from the morning until after the sun sets because there was night ski! After a whole day of skiing, resting at the outdoor onsen overlooking the snow garden was surreal, all the pains and aches just disappeared. To end the night, we watched the fireworks display from our room. We went to Naeba to ski but received far more than I expected. Thanks to all thestaff for the wonderful experience. We will be back soon and already planning a return.

Very nice view and japanese tatami style. Heavy snow and staff is very helpful to send us to station at free. Very good experience.

I checked in on Saturday, and it turned out to be the hotel's opening day. The front desk staff were friendly, and the availability of Chinese-speaking staff made communication easy. Considering the current hotel prices in Yuzawa, the value for money is quite good. The location is excellent, very close to Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making transportation convenient.

The room is spacious but ordinary. The room heater is old and traditional that made the room very dry and uneven temperature in different parts of the room. The water heater is not stable and sometimes it will shut down. The bed and pillow is uncomfortable. The hotel just beside the main road of village and our room windows are facing to the road, thus it is quite noise in the morning especially when it is raining or snowing. To be concluded, the room made us uncomfortable. Not recommended.
