A fabulous guest house in Summerstrand - with wonderful hosts. Excellent on every level. Highly recommended

The hotel is run by an elderly couple. Very homely. Very accommodating too to pick us up from the airport though our flight was delayed. Room is clean and the surrounding is beautiful with many plants and upcycled stuff.

This is a hotel located on the seaside, but you can't see the sea or hear the waves. Stayed one night on June 25th, including breakfast. The room is quite large, with a kitchen and bathroom workstation. The bathroom is also quite large, clean and tidy, and there is wifi in the room. The yard can park 2-3 cars. Go to the beach and walk a couple of hundred meters. There were not many shops nearby, so we went to the city to find a Chinese restaurant for dinner. The hostess was older, but her voice was loud and enthusiastic, as if she were a descendant or immigrant from the Mediterranean coast.

The property is located right next to airport and gives you a nice, safe and hygienic space for shorter/ longer stays. From tourist point of view its like 10 mins Bolt ride from here to Summerstand and Walmer. It is highly recommended for short stays where in you have business near port or airport. The breakfast has limited menu and one can get bored quickly after 3- 4 days. The staff is very friendly and accommodate any special request like early check-in or late check-out. The room size is at par with pricing and well maintained by the staff. I was here for a personal work near airport by so it worked out perfectly for me as being a solo traveler I wanted a budget, safe and clean place. The location of the other Road Lodge is right in front of marine drive and in the middle of happening place if you are looking for restaurants and shops at walking distance and a safe environment. Highly recommended for people who want a cozy place to crash and freshen up to catch a connecting flight or who want to stay really close to airport. You can literally pick your bags from baggage area and walk to the property in five minutes.

The starting point of the Garden Avenue self-driving trip, suitable for overnight stay. The room is of suitable size and quiet. It is connected to the shopping center, convenient for shopping and dining, and the seaside pier is just across the road, with beautiful scenery.
