Shell Hotels in Lanzhou

Seriously, I can't recommend this hidden gem of a hotel in Lanzhou enough! The location is absolutely perfect, right next to the Cultural Palace subway station, and within walking distance of Lanzhou University Second Hospital. It makes getting around, going to appointments, and exploring the local food scene incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the decor was cozy and inviting, and the mattress and pillows were so comfortable – I could just lie down and relax. Hot water came instantly with excellent water pressure, and the toiletries were high quality. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were so attentive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were super efficient, and they even proactively recommended local delicacies. The value for money here absolutely blows away other hotels in the same price range. If you're coming to Lanzhou, book this place without hesitation!

Near the train station and Zhengning Road Night Market Food Street, the hotel room is spacious, bright, comfortable and clean, especially the hotel bed is super comfortable to sleep. The fatigue of the journey is relieved instantly.

Transportation: The hotel is ideally located, very close to the Dongfanghong Square subway station. There are many restaurants downstairs, and the Lanzhou Museum is across the street, a two-minute walk away. The Zhengning Street Night Market is a 15-minute walk away. Taxi fares to the Bamboo Slips Museum, the Provincial Museum, and Zhongshan Bridge are around 20 yuan. Environment: The hotel is generally clean and comfortable, small and cozy. I stayed during the National Day holiday, and the room rate was only around 160-170 yuan, which is quite good during peak tourist season. If there is one drawback, it's the soundproofing, which is a bit lacking. I could clearly hear the TV next door, but overall, it's a good review.
