Romantic Hotels in Lanzhou

"The newly opened hotel has a good environment and facilities. I needed to catch a train early in the morning, and the hotel is near the West Railway Station; you can see the station from the window, but you have to take a taxi, which should only cost 10 yuan and take about 5 minutes. I originally booked another hotel in the same building, Wanrun Smart Choice, but when I arrived, they said there were no rooms available and they might not be able to vacate by noon. I checked the platform and saw the price had doubled, clearly meaning I had to cancel my booking myself. The hotel I'm staying at now is in the same building, and the price is about the same as when I booked. They asked if there were rooms available and even gave me early check-in. The difference in service is immediately apparent. I switched immediately."

"The hotel is located by the Yellow River, offering a pretty good view from the window! However, I have to complain about two things: first, the shower water was too cold, and second, the sensor light in the shower kept turning off by itself! Our family of four traveled during the Chinese New Year. My elderly mother was tired after visiting the provincial museum, so she returned to the hotel at 4 PM and said she wouldn't go out for dinner, opting to shower and rest. She was the only one who managed to get a hot shower at that time! When the other three of us returned to the hotel at 9 PM after dinner, I found the water to be lukewarm when I showered. It was a bit cold on my body, but I was already wet, so I had to just power through it. As soon as I got out, I told my husband and child that the water was very cold, and it might be due to many people using water during peak hours, suggesting they shower later. We waited and waited, but even at midnight, the water was still cold. I even called the front desk in between to report the cold water, and they replied that it was because many people were using water and advised showering later! But by 12:30 AM, my child was sleepy and couldn't wait any longer, so they took a quick cold shower. My husband just gave up on showering altogether! I really don't understand how a hotel this big can't even guarantee basic hot water for showers! And then there's the sensor light in the shower room. It would stay on for a few minutes and then turn off by itself. No matter how much you move around inside the shower, it wouldn't turn back on. You had to open the door and step outside the shower room for it to sense movement and light up again! So... I ended up taking a cold shower in the dark! What kind of crazy design is that? Who would open the door and step out in the middle of a shower just to get the light back on??!! This is the first time I've written such a long review, but overall, it was a pretty frustrating stay!"

"The experience of staying in GreenTree Inn's special double room is great! Although the room is small and the layout of the single room, the facilities in the house are all available. The bedding, bathroom and other supplies are complete and the quality is online. The whole house is cleaned very cleanly. The hotel's buffet breakfast is super rich in variety, buns, fried dough sticks, porridge, fruit drinks are all available. The fresh taste of the ingredients is also good, and the price/performance ratio is directly full. The front desk service is also very intimate, check-in and check-out are super fast, the overall stay is particularly comfortable, the price is absolutely perfect, I will choose this next time I travel!"

"The location is superb – right by the metro exit, just 50 meters from Zhangye Road Commercial Street, and only a stone's throw from Zhongshan Bridge. This makes getting around incredibly easy. If you're tired from exploring, you can easily pop back to the hotel for a rest before heading out again. The cleanliness and overall environment were quite satisfactory. They even offer complimentary coffee upon check-in. Plus, Axiya Restaurant is conveniently located on the 3rd floor, and there's a food court right downstairs."

The room was clean and tidy, the layout was warm and comfortable, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the overall space was spacious and bright, and the lighting and ventilation were very good. The facilities are complete and well maintained, it is very convenient to use, the bathroom is clean and odorless, and the hot water is sufficient and the water is stable. The service is warm and thoughtful, the attitude is kind and patient, and the demand response is timely, which makes people feel very intimate. "This hotel just opened in May of this year. Its facilities and smart rooms are more modern than typical hotels. The rooms are spacious and bright, with new furniture (though there's a slight whiff of new furniture). The toilet is smart, the bedding is clean, dry, comfortable, and snug, and the washbasin is external, with separate wet and dry areas. Unfortunately, there's no place to hang clothes or towels in the shower. The parking lot is spacious and equipped with charging stations, making it particularly convenient for self-driving travelers. The hotel's worst feature is breakfast. Perhaps due to the high number of guests during the holidays, the staff are too few. Tables are littered with used dishes that haven't been cleaned promptly. Plates left dripping from the cupboards and even chipped bowls (what if you cut your lip?). Dishes aren't served promptly, and the self-service plates on the kitchen table are often empty. It took several minutes to get a bowl of noodles (eventually, I had to give up). For the first time, I've seen a hotel serve eggs—hard-boiled eggs (which some greedy guests couldn't leave with). No fried eggs. As I was about to leave, I saw tea eggs being served. There are many guests staying in the hotel, few waiters, food is not supplied in a timely manner, and the restaurant management is chaotic."
