Lanzhou Hotels with Balcony

Top notch hotel located inside the Lanzhou Old Street Pedestrians Square. Highly recommended to stay here when you are visiting Lanzhou. 1. Easy public transportation - taxis, Didi rides and public buses 2. Boyuan Hotel is located in the middle of the large square where there is ******* Square Dancing performance every night from 7 -9pm 3. Excellent services provided by all the hotel staff. Miss Wen Li has been so helpful and together with her friends, they made us feel so welcome to Lanzhou. 4. The room was super clean, comfortable and spacious. Most importantly, it has an excellent sound proofing effect. We slept through the night without any outside disturbances. 5. They also provide self-laundry equipment: two washing machine and two dryers plus detergent. Thank you to the lovely staff and the management.

I have lived in this house for many days, the bedding is clean, the room is large, the projection is also large, there are many foods nearby, Yonghui Supermarket is next to it, it is very comfortable to live for three or four days, recommended!

I booked this room for a concert because it's close to the Olympic Sports Center. I didn't see it clearly when booking, but it was a windowless room. The front desk told me on arrival that it had no windows. I was so disappointed. Living alone is scary, and not having a window was a bit claustrophobic. Later, the front desk asked me about the room, and I complained about it. While I was having dinner, the front desk guy called and offered to change my room. The service was excellent, even offering to pick up takeout if it couldn't be delivered. The room we moved to was indeed larger and clean. There were still some hairs on the floor, perhaps because the cleaning lady didn't have enough time. Otherwise, everything else was fine. Highly recommended.

The hotel appears to be part of a group of hotels operating apartments, partitioned into rooms, with a single reception office. The location is excellent, next to Tumendun subway station, and one stop from Lanzhou West railway station. The room is clean. However, they only provide small paper cups and no kettle ! There’s a common water dispenser outside the room in the apartment, but it was inconvenient. The wash basin has the tap inconveniently placed behind and under the basin. The heater for the shower is unreliable. Most of the time, the water was cold!

I spent half an hour choosing one of the seven or eight hotels in the surrounding area on the map. The entrance to the hotel is 5-6 meters away from the exit of the subway exit D, so I won't be tired even if I push a big suitcase. The rooms are on the 11th to 13th floors, with plenty of light and simple layout. The towels, bath towels and toothbrushes are all disposable, and they are equipped with disposable toilet traps. Two intersections away from Zhongshan Bridge on the Yellow River, a pedestrian street downstairs, and a few steps away from Xingbaba's coffee shop. The room has a fantastic location, with a balcony directly facing the Danxia landform and offering stunning sunset views. The Danxia Scenic Area is right next door, with plenty of authentic local snacks. The hotel is situated in the middle of the loop, offering beautiful scenery no matter which way you turn. Staying in the mountains is incredibly peaceful; I even saw a blue sheep, a Class II protected animal, during my morning run. The scenic area is vast, and staying here allows for a more in-depth exploration.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the concierge took my luggage with a sincere smile, and the front desk also handed me warm welcome tea when I checked in quickly. The room is simple but stylish. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city night view into a flowing painting, and the soft and skin-friendly bedding makes people relieve their fatigue instantly. I especially like three details: the bathroom floor heating system makes you feel happy even when washing barefoot; the smart control system switches to sleep mode with one click; the mini bar actually has local snacks instead of stereotyped fast food. Breakfast is even more of a surprise. The freshly cooked signature seafood porridge is so fresh that it makes your eyebrows drop, and the baking area is filled with the aroma of butter from freshly baked croissants. When I checked out, I received a handwritten weather reminder card from the butler. Such a subtle and silent service is destined to be the reason why I choose this city again.

The hotel is conveniently located 4km from the entrance of Shuimo Danxia (imo better than Cicai Danxia in Zhangye). Don't miss the 2.5km plank walk which starts from the NE lookout ”Summit grasping beautiful scenes”. Park opens at 9am. Go here first then take bus to ”Nine color painting”. Hotel is located on the main road of 杏花村 (xing hua cun village). Look for the red and white banner shown in the Trip.com photo. Room was spacious and clean, and the host couple were very friendly. The female host cooked a delicious traditional niangpi noodle :) They also manage a small shop downstairs. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a convenient overnight location to maximise their time in the Danxia. The luggage storage at the Danxia closes at 4pm which was inconvenient for sightseeing as the park closes at 6pm. I stored my bags at the guest house.

Generally satisfied, but foreigners' accommodation is not very recommended. Since it is a general condominium, the entrance to the site is difficult to understand, and the entrance door of the building cannot be opened without a pass code except for one place. I didn't know where to check in, and when I went to room 3304, which was described only in the Trip.com app, a man who contacted the owner came out and managed to meet the owner. It is salvation that the owner was a very good person. The room was on the top floor and the view was very good. However, there is no air conditioner described in the equipment, and I think it will be a lot hot during the summer day. The private room, bus and toilet are not very clean, but I felt it was reasonable considering the price. Overall, I don't think it's particularly bad except check-in compared to hotels in the same price range. The bus stop is almost in front of you and can walk to Lanzhou West Station. Restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby, and it is a very good location if you use Lanzhou West Station.
