Nice, helpful staff! Great location. Nice size room and decent amenities. Overall Good value for low cost. BUT, the bed :( uncomfortable! Hard foam covered in plastic. Some folks maybe can deal with but I need a little more comfort. Pillows also small and flimsy but they will give you more.

I took advantage of a GREAT value offer for this hotel. The room was quiet, very clean on surfaces. The staff was very nice. Parking in garage available for free. But the condition of the room was not good. It did show a renovation with new carpet, updating bedding, renovated bathroom but the furniture was damaged, chipped, signs of use, the draperies need to be changed. The upholstery or the vinyl plastic drapery are old or decomposing - the room had a sickening plastic odor that smelled like the plastic was old and rotting. The draperies were not in great condition. The bed was the main issue. Although the mattress appears to be new and foam, it was the most uncomfortable bed I have been in. It took hours to get to sleep. The pillow were the smallest squares I have ever seen and although there were many they simply were not comfortable. The shower stall curtain needs to be changed - also used too much. Toiletries were below average. Towels were not great. But the cleaning staff was doing their best to clean so everything was as clean but the odor still persisted. Unfortunately it was a great value but I am not sure I would stay here again in future even if a similar deal pops up.

I'm been staying herefor years everytime im in town. The improvements has been epic! The receptionist was very welcoming, nice and professional. My room was clean and comfortable. Will forever stay here!

Front desk staff was courteous. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent value for the money. They granted me a 2 hour late checkout which was really appreciated as it was great to be able to shower before tracking home 3 hours after the Rehobeth Beach Marathon.

Location location location. Perfect location, short of being beach front. Easy access to beach, food & drink, everything. The triple bed room is a first for us - perfect for our needs with adult children traveling with us. The room had everything we needed. Overall a nice place. The beds were a bit too firm for us - memory foam, but firm. What I like the least is the bathroom. This is the 3rd or 4th strait hotel room I've stayed in that has mold in the trim work of the shower/tub. Once a month I spray bleach based bathroom sprays at home, and I'm convinced that hotels aren't doing it. This one sure isn't. I'm not talking about the kind of mold that sends people to the hospital. It's minor. But I really don't want to see it when I'm paying for a room for a night or two.

Friendly front staff, spacious, clean and comfortable room, with an in room safe, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There was plenty of equipment in the fitness room with towels and disinfectant. And lots of free parking in their private parking garage attached to the hotel. The receptionist let us know if we parked in a particular area there was another door to enter that brought us closer to our room after walking up about 6 stairs. Very convenient!

Easy check in and quickly handled our large groups arrival. Located centrally in walking distance to the beach and many activities made Golden Leaf an easy choice.
