"We originally planned to stay in Bipenggou, but there was a power outage due to heavy snow. The owner of the B&B recommended several hotels in the county town to us, so we chose this one. The hotel opened a few years ago. It is well maintained, the breakfast is delicious, the boss is very enthusiastic, the service is very good, and the price-performance ratio is very high. I recommend it."
"One of my best stays in Western Sichuan! The minsu is very new and their installations are just perfect! The area is very close to different tourist attractions if you’re driving. So it’s very convenient to reach, by car, different places of natural or cultural interest, such as ******* villages or Bipenggou. The staff is just amazing: they make you feel at home. They also have a restaurant with fresh food and tasty options. Te breakfast is delicious and also very fresh. It’s a very relaxing and comfortable at the region"
"Absolutely fantastic! The owner and their family were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always eager to assist with any needs. Our room was very peaceful, with no noise at all at night. The floor heating kept us warm, and the bathroom also had a heater, ensuring comfortable showers. The owner's beef hotpot was absolutely delicious, with an exceptional flavor. Plus, there are EV charging stations available, which is very convenient for electric vehicles."
"How can a guesthouse be *this* beautiful?! This is hands down the most amazing guesthouse I've encountered on my Gannan trip this year. The setting is beautiful, and it's equipped with smart devices throughout! The host is incredibly hospitable, and what's more, it's pet-friendly! I'll be recommending this to all my friends who plan to visit Gannan. The breakfast is also very substantial, and it's included in the room rate – truly a rare find!"
"Conveniently located just off National Highway G248, with ample parking. Our room overlooked the river, and while the sound of the water was quite noticeable, once the windows were closed, it was virtually silent. The soundproofing is excellent; even my noise-sensitive family found it completely acceptable and had a peaceful night's sleep. The family room also features a spacious living room, and next to it is a billiard room with direct access to a small rooftop terrace on the third floor. While the guesthouse only offered hot pot, my family was craving stir-fries. The owner kindly recommended a Sichuan restaurant just a 3-minute drive away, which turned out to be much more affordable than the Chuanyuxiang restaurant at the intersection. The courtyard also has several slow-charging EV chargers, which is a great convenience for electric vehicle owners."
"Most of the hotels in Bipenggou are a bit old, but the environment and service are good. The rooms are big, the floor heating is super warm, and it is not cold at all in winter. The service attitude is also very good, and you can be sent to the Bipenggou scenic area."
"The room has floor heating and is not cold at all. The room is also large, with complete equipment and facilities, and the sound insulation effect is good. What touched us most was that yesterday our car broke down and we couldn’t travel. The boss drove us to the scenic spot and picked us up. After the car was repaired, we were sent to the county seat for a drive. The boss was great and provided top-notch service! ! ! worth going"
"The B&B is located in Ganbao Zangzhai in Li County, a 10-minute drive from the county seat of Li County and about a 40-minute drive from the Bipenggou attraction. The B&B is built next to the small river in the village. It has a large yard. Parking is convenient. You can sit and drink tea by the river. There are grape trellises in the yard with many flowers planted. There are three sun rooms with terraces, all of which are large. Very good, full of meat, casual and comfortable. It's just that the house prices are slightly higher during the National Day, and it would be better if the cleaning was more thorough."
"The room was absolutely incredible! It offered the best value for money of all the places I've stayed these past few days. The price was great, and the location was convenient. It was also immaculately clean. Once inside, I just didn't want to leave! The room was fully equipped with high-tech features. On the ground floor, they even had a mahjong machine and a cozy fireplace. It was so relaxing to sit there in the evening, enjoying some tea. I absolutely loved the interior design. The owner and staff were all incredibly welcoming and the service was outstanding. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!"

Excellent
GGuest UserI'd been choosing this B&B for a long time. The pictures seemed incredibly stylish, and the price, over 600 yuan per night during the National Day holiday, immediately raised my expectations. Arriving at the hotel, we were a bit exhausted from the long journey. The lobby was a bit messy, perhaps due to the holiday crowds. The elevator and stairwell looked a bit sketchy, perhaps because it was newly opened and hadn't been updated yet. We were given a room facing the road, which was quite noisy when large trucks passed by. The room was a bit small, making it a bit cramped for our family of three, about the size of an Orange or All Seasons hotel. The outdoor hot spring, essentially an outdoor swimming pool, was empty when we visited, though it was cold and unsuitable. The area around the pool was also a bit sparse. It was understandably crowded during the holiday, which is understandable.
The good news is that the B&B owner clearly put a lot of thought into the design and layout of the hotel. It's certainly a challenge to handle such a large influx of visitors just after opening. While the breakfast options weren't extensive, they were quite good. The beef rice noodles and beef noodles were both excellent, and the braised eggs were very flavorful. There's also a coffee machine, which made a decent latte. The location is very close to the Bipenggou Scenic Area, about a 5-minute drive from the entrance. It's located along a river, and staying near the river at night would be quite relaxing listening to the white noise.
We stayed one night and left quickly in the morning. I really want to commend the staff for their hospitality and sincerity. I hope they continue to improve and their business continues to grow.
GGuest UserStumbled upon a recommendation for this place and decided to book it in advance. It pretty much lived up to expectations. Just a heads-up that after 3:30 PM, entry to Bipenggou is no longer allowed. This is a perfect time to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot spring, as there are fewer crowds in the afternoon. After dinner, there's an hour-long, easy-to-learn 'Guozhuang' folk dance. If you're keen to try on some local ******* outfits, you can do so near the front desk beforehand. The evening hot spring soak was also incredibly comfortable. At an altitude of over 2000 meters, it was pleasantly cool even on summer nights. The next morning, the breakfast spread was varied and plentiful. After breakfast, you can get ready and head straight to Bipenggou. Overall, the staff were attentive and enthusiastic. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient, just 200 meters from the Bipenggou ticket office. It's tucked away in a quiet spot just over the bridge, offering true tranquility – an excellent location overall. We booked the family room, which was spacious and impeccably clean. It featured a 2-meter king-size bed and a bunk bed (1.5m wide lower bunk, 1.2m wide upper bunk), plus a small garden planted with hydrangeas. The owner provided outstanding service, always willing to resolve any issues with a fantastic attitude. The homemade breakfast was hearty and filling, perfect for energizing us for a day of hiking and exploring. Highly recommend the owner!
WWondering CaterpieBeautiful place, comfortable bed, big spacious room, good customer service. Hotel has many indoor hot springs but I didn’t try. 4 good washers and few washers are provided for convenience of guests.
However, cleanliness needs improvement. For example, our room has dirt ( or may be cigarette ash) inside the wash basin and surrounding. Drinking water dispenser tray is very dirty .
Furthermore, wall near lift is dirty and smeared with brown drink streaks, carpet inside lift well is dark and soiled.
If the hotel can improve on cleanliness, it would be an excellent place to stay.
GGuest UserOur stay was very pleasant, the family room is decorated adorably and the view was nice. They had a nice garden in front of the hotel with plenty of pavilions where you can sit and relax, as well as open air hot spring pools on the third floor. We especially enjoy soaking in the hotspring pools, overlooking the mountain scenery and breathing in the fresh air. The breakfast spread was good, so for two consecutive days we ate at the hotel restaurant and very much enjoyed the food. The hotpot was tasty and the portion was huge, and we also really like the stir fried pork belly. Before we checked out the staff helped us book for a ride to Chengdu per our request. Overall a very nice place for a getaway where you can enjoy natural scenery 😊
JjandcThis is the only hotel within the scenic area, and self-drivers can drive their own vehicles directly up the mountain. We arrived via a chartered car, as our driver was just dropping us off. We had called the front desk beforehand to confirm if our car could drive up or if a hotel shuttle was required. The front desk initially said cars weren't allowed and a pick-up was needed. However, upon arriving at the check-in point at the base of the mountain, we were told we *could* drive up. It seemed there was a lack of consistent information regarding hotel policies among the staff.
Overall, staying within the scenic area was incredibly convenient. We booked a room with a private courtyard hot spring, and soaking in it with the magnificent mountain views was utterly blissful.
The room wasn't large, but it didn't feel cramped. Breakfast was generous, even better than at the Grand Hyatt and Conrad we'd stayed at a few days earlier. Dinner was also quite good.
My only major complaint is that the bathroom had no door or any partitions whatsoever. As a family of three, this meant that when someone was showering, the others awkwardly had to go outside for a walk. Also, there was no air conditioning.
GGuest UserWhen visiting Bipenggou, choosing this hot spring hotel was such a brilliant idea; it absolutely deserves a five-star review! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, its unique charm was immediately apparent. It's surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests, and the air is unbelievably fresh – every breath felt like a spa treatment for my lungs.
The hotel is incredibly close to Bipenggou Scenic Area; just a few minutes' drive takes you right to the start of your magnificent mountain adventure. Opening the window in the morning, I was greeted by lush greenery, and with the sun warming my skin, my spirits were instantly lifted. In the evening, you can enjoy breathtaking mountain sunsets – the ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the hot spring water was crystal clear – a soak in it made all the day's fatigue just melt away. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, and check-in was a breeze. They even thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I left feeling completely satisfied. My stay here was absolutely wonderful; next time I visit Bipenggou, I'll definitely be staying here again!
MM36515****This is the perfect choice for accommodation when visiting Bipenggou Scenic Area. It's just 200 meters from the scenic spot, and free parking is available. Highly recommended! When booking, I suggest choosing a south-facing room – the view is exactly as pictured. Avoid north-facing rooms, as they can be quite dark and feel a bit gloomy.
AAnonymous UserOur last stop was Bipenggou, where we checked into Yijianrugu Homestay. It's the closest accommodation to the Bipenggou Scenic Area. Surrounded by verdant mountains, clear waters, and white clouds, the environment is wonderfully comfortable. The rooms, featuring an all-wood structure, are very distinctive.
XXiahuaweimianWe specifically visited for the infinity pool with its stunning views and the hot springs. The drive to the hotel wasn't the easiest, but upon seeing the beautiful surroundings once we arrived, the challenging journey felt entirely worthwhile! Some of the maple trees on the property have already turned red; I imagine it would be even more beautiful and breathtaking if visited in autumn.
