The whole estate felt like the proprietress was hosting everyone herself. She was constantly in the lobby and dining area, greeting guests during check-in and at breakfast the next day. There are also several adorable dogs here that immediately come over for pets!
The amenities and breakfast at the hotel are excellent. The lobby offers a variety of snacks, all from Sam's Club, which you can just grab and eat. There's also a massage chair, a fireplace, and more. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer direct views of the autumn leaves. In the evening, the large pool in the garden is filled with hot spring water, and soaking in it during cold weather is incredibly comfortable. It's a genuine hot spring, and Guzhou itself is famous for its hot springs. Some room types even have private hot tubs. It's truly relaxing and helps soothe away the fatigue of a long journey.

Guest UserThe location is super convenient, right near the scenic spot's ticket office. We were able to park our car at the owner's place and take a shortcut. The owner and the auntie were incredibly kind. We were traveling with elderly parents and young children and hadn't packed everything we needed. One of our parents suffered from altitude sickness, and it was difficult to go out and buy medicine. The owner generously shared some of their own supplies with us, which really helped alleviate their discomfort. The hotel environment is also fantastic! Our room's window faced the snow-capped mountains directly. Waking up, opening the curtains, and admiring the view from bed was absolutely stunning. This is a truly wonderful place, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Guest UserThis hotel is truly amazing! I've been visiting the western Sichuan region for three consecutive years, and this place absolutely offers the best value for money, service, facilities, restaurant, ambiance, and cleanliness. The rooms are designed with a business-like feel. When we checked out, the hotel even prepared a small gift for us, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommended! Oh, and to add, the breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied, with noodles, rice vermicelli, milk, toast – everything you could ask for. It really has so many positives.

Guest UserWe chose the family room for our trip to Bipenggou with our child, and the overall stay was very comfortable. The layout with one large and one small bed was practical, and the children's bed had cute, playful bedding that my little one absolutely loved. The room also had a private balcony with direct views of the continuous mountains; it was incredibly relaxing to just sit out there, feel the breeze, and admire the scenery.
The entire room was elegantly decorated and spotless, with wooden lattice partitions creating distinct areas. The cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel lobby had a wonderful ambiance, featuring oil paintings of the snowy mountains of Western Sichuan. The public courtyard was lush with greenery and even had hot spring pools. Parking was convenient for those driving, and it wasn't far from the scenic area. The service was attentive, making it perfect for a mountain getaway with kids.

Guest UserBipenggou is absolutely stunning, truly living up to its nickname as the 'Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.' We were lucky enough to even see snow-capped mountains at this time of year 🏔️ and even found a four-leaf clover by the roadside 🍀.
The hotel was also great. They saw we had a child with us and even gave us free breakfast vouchers, which was a lovely gesture. The service and cleanliness were both quite good 👍.

Pretty clean room but hotel was really old. It’s located near the entrance of Bipenggou but there’s not much restaurants/ supermarkets around. The front desk was nice and gave us extra bottles of water as we couldn’t buy water anywhere near the hotel. Pretty alright stay for 1 night.

PeteAMGreat location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

ManguoqihaidefengThe facilities are quite complete. The wooden cabins are surrounded by a riot of wildflowers and lush greenery in summer, so the natural setting is absolutely stunning. However, very few of the outdoor hot spring pools were open, and aside from the rooftop infinity pool, only a handful of indoor pools were available. So, the hot spring experience in summer was just so-so.
We stayed in a 'Flower Field Cabin,' which felt a bit damp, and a quick glance at the bathroom showed some mold... If you're a clean freak, it's best not to look too closely. But considering we're in the mountains, you can't really complain about these conditions.
The breakfast was quite rich, and we also had dinner at the hotel, which was pretty good.

PhoenixXueWhen I visited Bipenggou this time, I booked the Namu Lake Resort Hotel mainly because it's advertised as 'the only hotel within the scenic area.' My experience was that while the location is indeed unbeatable, the details really need some refinement.
If you're driving, there's a dedicated reception point at the scenic area entrance. After checking in, you'll receive a vehicle pass, which allows you to drive directly to the hotel along the scenic road. It's about a 10-mile winding road from the entrance to the hotel. In the evening, with almost no other tourists, driving was a real pleasure, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. However, you do need to be mindful that you can only drive along the designated route and park in the hotel's parking lot.
The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the scenic shuttle stop. It departs from the hotel's main entrance approximately every two hours and seamlessly connects with the electric carts that go up the mountain, saving a lot of time. This service is quite convenient for guests.
To be honest, the hotel's facilities are a bit dated. The room decor shows its age. My biggest complaint is the sink height – it's incredibly poorly designed. For someone of my height (1.62m or about 5'4”), the sink comes up to my thigh. It's extremely inconvenient for adults, forcing you to bend and hunch over just to wash your face or brush your teeth, which was quite uncomfortable.
