I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely loved it! My boyfriend's birthday even got us an upgraded room and a welcome gift! The proprietress is a super cool and cultured person. I've never had such a comfortable trip – truly satisfied with every single aspect! The staff and butler at the estate were all incredibly gentle and kind. At night, there was sweet soup in a thermos in our room, which I almost missed, haha! Luckily, I found it; it felt like a treasure hunt. The butter tea for breakfast was amazing. Whether it was the snacks or the cheese at breakfast, everything the proprietress bought was high-quality, Sam's Club-level stuff – super nice! She also has a dog that looks like a little lamb; it's so cute, I could just die, ahhh! But the absolute best was the yak hotpot with grilled meat for dinner; it was just incredibly good, seriously! One word: phenomenal! I will definitely be back! The rest of the photos are on my other phone, haha, I'll edit them and leave another review soon!

Guest UserGreat location set back from the main road and the rooms have great views of the local area. The staff were very quick to respond to all of my messages. The room is modern and well-designed. I just can't understand why the towels they provide are so poor quality. One reason why people choose this kind of hotel instead of the cheaper hotels in the area is for the quality of the facilities, especially towels. But the ones they have here are single-use, very thin towels that do not really dry you at all. Apart from that, it is an excellent place to stay. The nearby Nobu cafe is also a highlight of this area.

Guest UserThis hotel is really great! You can park right outside, and it's super close to the Bipenggou scenic area. The lobby is lovely, and the location is fantastic. The facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms even have a private hot spring bath, which is so convenient, especially with the disposable bath liners provided. The room was spotless, and the service was excellent.

Guest UserI booked the hotel several months in advance, but later found that the room price had dropped by almost 1,000 baht per room, which made me feel very disappointed. I couldn’t get a refund. The room itself was clean and okay, but the bathroom was clogged and the water wouldn’t drain. There was no staff available at night, so I had to wait until morning for someone to come fix it. The hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the smell came into the room as well. On the positive side, all the staff were friendly and helpful. However, overall I was not satisfied.

Guest UserI chose Zodui Kangqin Hotel in Gurgou Town, which is less than 2 hours away from Chengdu. First of all, the facilities are very complete. The room is exactly as pictured, and the amenities are very convenient. There's an underground parking lot with charging stations. The service is also very attentive, always available when needed. The decor is very cozy. Highly recommended!

Guest UserBipenggou is absolutely stunning, truly living up to its nickname as the 'Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan.' We were lucky enough to even see snow-capped mountains at this time of year 🏔️ and even found a four-leaf clover by the roadside 🍀.
The hotel was also great. They saw we had a child with us and even gave us free breakfast vouchers, which was a lovely gesture. The service and cleanliness were both quite good 👍.
Attached is a Bipenggou travel guide.

It's very close to Bipenggou, conveniently located right on the road to Lixiao. The rooms are spacious. Although there isn't a private balcony, there's a wide corridor which is quite convenient for smokers. The restaurant is also a major highlight; the food is delicious, though a bit on the expensive side. It's a perfectly good option for guests who prefer not to eat out.

PeteAMGreat location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

Guest UserEnvironment: Decent, the room I booked had a view of the snow-capped mountains.
Facilities: A bit old, but it's an old hotel, over ten years old, so it's well-maintained compared to when it first opened.
The front desk staff, Zhu Jing, was very thoughtful and helped me switch to a room closer to the main building, which made it more convenient for hot springs and breakfast. The hot springs were very comfortable and relaxing.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right within the scenic area, and you can even drive your private car in. The room rate includes admission tickets, and the hotel has its own shuttle to take you to the electric cart transfer point. It's very convenient if you want to drive to Longwang Lake. Being able to stroll around near the hotel even after the scenic area closes in the evening is a big plus. The room's hygiene and facilities are also good, with floor heating. However, for a high-altitude area, they don't provide oxygen equipment, and oxygen tanks are double the price of those outside, which is a bit of a letdown for a hotel in this price range.
The service, honestly, was quite mediocre, definitely not as good as other hotels and B&Bs we stayed at during this Sichuan-Tibet small loop trip. It felt like the catering, housekeeping, and front desk departments were all disconnected; when you called, they couldn't even transfer you, requiring you to call back. The dining experience at the restaurant was very poor. We ordered a fish dish, and when we asked if it had many bones, they said no. But when it arrived, my friends and I barely touched it because it had so many tiny bones, and it was prepared as a 'sour fish' dish. We hardly ate any of it. The other dishes were also very salty. When we reported the issues after the meal, the waitstaff seemed indifferent. For breakfast, you had to stand by the noodle station, otherwise, if you walked away and came back, you'd find the staff had forgotten your order.
Actually, a friend had a great experience here before and specifically recommended it, but this stay, compared to the other places on this trip, left a much poorer impression and feeling. I really hope the hotel improves its service awareness.
