Family-friendly Hotels in Lijiang

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

The hotel is worthy of being a 5-star international hotel. It is high-end and classy but affordable. It is one of the most affordable and good-quality luxury hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel environment is first-class, the facilities are top-notch, and it is also very close to Shuhe Ancient Town. When checking in, the front desk also upgraded the room and sent exquisite fruit gifts, which was very warm! The room is clean, beautiful and tidy, and the water volume is very impressive! I will come to beautiful Lijiang again, and I will stay in the luxury hotel again!

This hotel was my best experience in my Sichuan - Northwest Yunnan trip. The price is more than fair for the service and the facilities they offer. Moreover, it’s the only place I stayed where they have staff fluent in English (even though I stayed in more expensive places that cater for foreigners in northwest Yunnan). Just beside the main attractions. Totally convenient 设施：they have everything you need in the room and it’s all top quality. 卫生：perfectly clean. 环境：the room is very comfortable and the common areas are so pleasant; not even counting the view you can have of Yulong-Shan on a clear day 服务：staff is very friendly and perfectly trained. Highest level service in China for me so far

Excellent location, easy access walking distance to old town. Villa rooms are very cute, interesting wooden front door locks. I have a villa room with hot tub, living room, office desk, huge spacious unit. Unfortunately there aren’t no outlet to charge my laptop at the desk. I like to see more USB and USB-C outlets for cellphones camera and iPads.

Pick up service is available at the high speed train station. We traveled from Shangarila. Check-in in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and get the room key to stay, no need to wait. And you can still eat breakfast that day. This is very satisfying. The room has 3 beds, 2 rooms, and 2 bathrooms. In the morning, you don't have to wait in line to use the bathroom with your children. The cleanliness of both the bathroom and bedroom is excellent. There is yogurt as well, souvenirs, lift and lotion. I really like it because it can be used right away because we come from Thailand, which is a hot weather area. The location is very good. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and both above ground and underground shopping. Walking to the ancient city of Lijiang is very close and very fun. Lijiang is a beautiful city that I came from. Many times already Recommend this hotel His employees are very helpful. Delicious breakfast

The location is great, 5-10 mins walk from north gate of 束河古镇. Service is Wonderful and staff make you feel at home. The top rated Huya coffee is nearby,.and also the 九鼎龙潭water catchment area. 闹中取静 stay for a quick stop at 丽江. Had a wonderful time and.experience Mooncake making lesson organized by the hotel during Mid Autumn Festival stay. The dining hall is overlooking a small farm of herbs and vegetables. I would recommend staying here if you are coming to LiJiang, SuHe GuZhen 束河古镇. P/S: They offer free baggage service from the entrance(picture).

The resort is nicely built and designed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The breakfast was great wide range of foods, Chinese and western. Fruits were aplenty, complimentary bottled waters are replenished daily. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too soft to my liking. The room itself is a bit dated, front door is not properly aligned and closing it need to push harder. The cleaning person were not thorough enough, while the black marbled floor is clean, the carpet could not be said so as there were stains and foods stuff sticking to the carpet from previous customers.

Wonderful first time trip to Yunnan. The inn is clean and have all the amenities I need. The staff are very friendly and helpful, speedy assistance when I request for something. The breakfast mixian is yummy. The lady boss provides excellent service. She helped to book all my major transportation to n fro airport, visits to the snow mountain and musical play and even the purchase of tickets. She'll share info of where are the places worth going in Lijiang ancient city. The various shops I went, to take cultural costumes photo and purchase of silver accessories and to eat are recommended by her as well. She even helped me to book the mini tour for my shangri-la trip in between. You can basically ask her anything you need advise for travel in Yunnan. Very glad that I've chosen this place and I'll stay here again if I do come back to Lijiang.

The name of the whole store makes you feel it is very classy and a bit fairy-like. Then, seeing so many good reviews, I booked it out of curiosity. As a result, the service was really amazing, from the front desk reception, the housekeeper, to the sisters who greeted you with a smile in the restaurant in the morning, to the sisters who worked in the guest rooms. The atmosphere of the whole store was very good. The smiling service and greetings were done to the extreme. There were people caring and greeting you everywhere. Then, according to the person in charge, every brick and tile, every blade of grass and every piece of furniture in the store, including every piece of furniture in the room, are the ingenious works of the manager. They are indeed made with great care, and living there is full of love and care. This store is really in great shape. Everyone feels at home when they enter, and they are reluctant to leave.
