Family-friendly Hotels in Lijiang

Easy to find as is the tallest building in the town. The hotel has two parts to it- the International main building and a smaller 'local' style Which is where is stayed. Really lovely setting Just wasn't too impressed by the room Which had obviously seen better days. Pool on roof with a great view was a nice touch and breakfast had me set off for my journey in a good mood. Would come again, Just Hope for a better room. PS: Collins at reception speaks English Really well and has been working at the hotel since it was built twenty years ago and is a great Welcome host

The hotel is very large in size, with a good environment and a good distance to the attractions. The rooms are good in terms of bedding, toiletries, and size. The rooms are very large and have a nice view. The front desk, the guest room, and the luggage handling staff are all very nice. The breakfast is also very special. The hotel offers free parking and the parking lot is very large. The price/performance ratio is very high.

Super loved our stay at Intercontinental Lijiang. Hotel location is fantastic, the main entrance is along the road hence cars can enter and drop you off directly at the main lobby. The side gate of the hotel leads directly into the ancient town. There is no need to drag your luggage through the rocky roads of the ancient town. Buggy service to and fro the main lobby and rooms are available 24/7. Amenities are good, with an indoor pool and sauna as well as a in-house spa centre. The cafe in the lobby has a very beautiful view of the snow mountain, and is nice to have tea there to enjoy the view. They even have a dyson hair dryer in every room too. Highly recommend 👍🏼

Strongly recommend staying here. The hotel staff was all particularly helpful, even with gather some trail food for the tiger leaping gorge. Shout out to Sunny 何小慧in the kitchen for that and Angela at the front desk for the fruit. They provided me a fixed review that I’ll copy below but the suggestion wasn’t need since my stay really was great. Pick up service is available at the high speed train station. We traveled from Shangarila. Check-in in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and get the room key to stay, no need to wait. And you can still eat breakfast that day. This is very satisfying. The room has 3 beds, 2 rooms, and 2 bathrooms. In the morning, you don't have to wait in line to use the bathroom with your children. The cleanliness of both the bathroom and bedroom is excellent. There is yogurt as well, souvenirs, lift and lotion. I really like it because it can be used right away because we come from Thailand, which is a hot weather area. The location is very good. Near the hotel there are many restaurants and both above ground and underground shopping. Walking to the ancient city of Lijiang is very close and very fun. Lijiang is a beautiful city that I came from. Many times already Recommend this hotel His employees are very helpful. Delicious breakfast

Bivou is a gem in Yunnan. The service staff are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel like you’re at home. I was assigned a room surrounded by greenery, and the feeling when you look out the windows was amazing especially when it rains. They maintain the space very well and there were no bugs in the room despite all the plants outside. They have in house activities if you wish to have a rest day from the touristy stuff. Food was delicious too - I think they use the produce that they plant themselves so it’s very fresh. South East Asians would be glad to know there’s kaya and milo available for breakfast! I couldn’t catch everyone’s names but big shout out to all the hardworking staff there including Xuexue, May and Layla for making my stay so lovely.

This place is a combination of Chinese traditional style of setting with modern classy set up. I was amazed by the this hotel. I rate this hotel as above the highest rating. The staff our super friendly and kind. Our housekeeper Alice provide us the excellent service. Not only she upgrade the room for us but also service us with the cake. We felt honored, and we were very touched by the decorations they put in our room too. The breakfast was so wonderful the choice of food awesome. Words can’t truly express how amazing this resort is. You need to just simply come and experience. The staff took care of every single detail and went above and beyond. World class and luxury. 这个地方是中国传统风格的设置与现代高档设置的结合。虽然酒店有一定历史，但是所有的设施和装潢都是与众不同的。我给这家旅馆的评价在最高等级以上。这里的员工非常友好和善良。我们的管家alice为我们提供了极好的服务。她不仅为我们升级了房间，而且还提供了蛋糕。我们感到荣幸，我们也很感动的房间布置的装饰。早餐太棒了，食物的选择也很棒。语言无法真正表达这个度假胜地有多神奇。你只需要来体验一下。工作人员照顾到每一个细节，超越一切。世界级的奢华。

What a wonderful stay we had here!! Our family was welcomed warmly and we soon felt like old friends as we shared many cups of tea. The manager was very enthusiastic and she helped us plan our day trips around Lijiang. Although we don’t speak Chinese she persevered and we had very enjoyable experiences based on her recommendations. The place is clean and in a idyllic location in the old town. The breakfast provided was Chinese and nice. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Floral Inn again soon. Thank you!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Xitian Yueshang Inn (Alice In Wonderland inn): The hotel in Lijiang was a pretty and cosy spot. On arrival at the hotel, Xiao Xiao was asked to help translate for me. She shared her wechat, answered any queries even late in the day and guided me right through my stay. She showed me areas for a great meal and desserts and told me interesting things to do in the area and helped make the reservations. All the other staff were also kind and helpful. This really made my stay worthwhile and want to share my experience. Hope to be back again soon!

Everything is absolutely amazing. I enjoyed traditional Chinese architecture of the hotel so much. It feels like being in the Chinese traditional dramas. Location is also very convenient ,over looking the entire Lijiang old town. Staff is exceptional, really they go above and beyond to help and make me feel comfortable. Everyone is lovely, attentive, and always there to help, especially Jimmy. Overall I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. The staff, the setting, and the services are all top-notch. I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the memories we created there. Thank you to your entire team for making my stay and also my trip in Lijiang so special. ❤️
