Hotels Near Rossio Square in Lisbon

Though it's getting a little old this hotel is in a great position, staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate and tasty

1. The hotel has a unique and new environment. It is a converted monastery. Restaurants, shopping and transportation are nearby. 2. The room is not big. The biggest drawback is that the window is very small (about the size of a 20-inch suitcase). I wanted to change the room, but the room was full and I couldn't change. 3. The hotel service is friendly. 4. The service staff in the breakfast room had problems every day after staying for 3 days. On day 1, order a double omelette cooked on one side and make it cooked on two sides. I asked for ketchup, but it wasn't delivered. On the second day, I ordered fried eggs and omelette, but they were not served for a long time. I have to focus on it again. On the third day, we ordered mint tea, but the black waiter asked us to go to the drinks counter to get it ourselves, but after looking for it for a long time, we couldn't find it (but on the first two days, we always sat in a good seat, and the waiter would ask if we wanted coffee or tea first) Overall, this hotel is still very good, but the management of the breakfast room needs to be strengthened.

Absolutely excellent location! It's right next to the street and it's convenient to go anywhere The bathroom is big and it's great for taking a bath. The bath products are of good quality. You know, taking a comfortable bath in Europe is very rare. I don't know why, but it works every time! As for the bed, since there were three of us and one of us slept on the sofa bed, we felt that the cleaning was not very reliable because the family member who slept on the sofa bed always had a lot of bite marks on his body when he woke up. We don’t know if it’s because the sofa bed is rarely spread out as a bed so there are dead corners that are not cleaned properly. We felt a bit troubled! The service is very friendly, the counter will take the initiative to greet with a smile 😁, Summary: I recommend everyone to stay here in Lisbon, it is homely! (It would be better if the sofa bed could be cleaned thoroughly)

The breakfast says 8£ on the system and need to pay at the reception. But actually the price was not including something (VAT or something) and they charged me 25€ for 2 days. It means 12.5€ for one breakfast. Not 8€. The other things are okay. Dormitory bed has curtains for each bed. So felt more privacy. The toilet is only in the room and ground floor, so felt a bit less, but it was okay. Very clean hostel.

The hotel itself is ok. It is close to the scenic spots and the subway station and Rossio railway station. Just remind everyone to beware that the hotel owner will charge more city tax (especially bullying Chinese guests who don’t have much knowledge about tax collection). The rule is that city tax should be It is charged according to the actual number of people staying at the time of booking or the actual number of people staying, not according to the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in the room. In addition, the boss insisted on collecting taxes and cash taxes before moving in and not giving tax receipts. This is against the regulations.

The hotel is in good location and near to Pink street, pinice jg. Castle, Commerce square, saintra street and mcdonald's. I like my stay. I also reffer my friends about this hotel.

Excellent, unbeatable location with direct bus service from the airport terminal to the door step of this hotel, which was previously a grand theatre and now sitting right at the heart of the main square in Lisbon old city. It is a tad dated inside but nothing to cry home about and the room is clean with a full kitchenette. Do not expect 5***** furnishings and you will appreciate that you got the best room in the best location at a fantastic price. The check-in staff were also fabulous.

I won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre. The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment. Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers). Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too. Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately. Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

The location is excellent. It is next to the tourist street. There are many restaurants and businesses nearby. It is also within walking distance to the seaside. The bed is also equipped with a curtain to increase privacy. There is also a welcome alcoholic drink on the first day. The attached buffet breakfast is very balanced and nutritious. There are fruits, eggs, ham, and there are also complimentary meat dinners on Tuesday and Friday nights, which is very good~

The place they are located is very convenient, the rooms and beds are clean, the only problem is that some of the beds, like bed 5, it is right next to the door and when I open the door it is not easy to open the storage space under the bed does not open at the same time . The storage cabinet bucket won't lock even though I've used the lock. There are not enough tools for hanging clothes in the bathroom, so please bring your own plastic bags to prevent your clothes from getting wet, and the push-button faucet is completely inconvenient and water will flow out if you don't push it.
